Singer Bombay Jayashri Strikes A Chord With National Award Win

- Celebrated singer Bombay Jayashri has been named to receive the best female playback singer award. The national film awards has chosen her in recognition of her performance in the song 'Chaayum Veyil' from the film Saudi Vellaka. In 2013, Bombay Jayashri was nominated for an academy award for her song Pie's Lullaby from the film 'The Life of Pie'. NDTV's Sam Daniel caught up with Bombay Jayashri.
