Miss Tammy, you are correct about using hot rollers. you can do any style with them. I think that with all the new hair tools we forget how tried and true hot rollers are. All of my other hair tools are shoved to the back of the shelf, also covered rollers are so much less damaging.

    Tammy,
I just wanted to say that you inspire me to take better care of myself. I’m a single mom and I work weekend night shift as a nurse so most days I’m just too darn tired to make an effort for self love/self care. I’m so used to just taking care of everyone else all the time. My hair is usually up in a bun. Lol
I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to make this a priority in my life again. I even got a facial today. It really does make a difference in ones overall happiness.
I truely enjoy all your videos…I learn so much and I believe women like you are a treasure. You make me chuckle and your joy is contagious. So thank you thank you thank you. I didn’t learn much in the beauty department from the women in my family so I really appreciate these videos..

You are such a lovely and kind lady. Thank you!
I used to love my hot rollers! I’ll have to pull them out , again.
I usually cut my hair every 2 years ,donate it then grow it back out!
Living on my farm , my hair generally stays either in a loose bun or I braid it. It’s down to my waist ,again...after watching this video , I think I’ll hold off with my cut.
You’re tutorials are fabulous! Thank you, again!
    All the best❣️

Wow, I love your hair & this informative video. Evidently, I’ve been rolling my hair the wrong way. I’m also getting the babyliss curler set for Xmas but asked for the different sized ones. Upon seeing this, I will take it back to get the same sized rollers.
    Thank you for making this.

Hi Tammy! Thanks for the tutorial! I used to use Hot Rollers all the time years ago. Just got out of the habit of curling my hair but love it. I think your hair looks shinier since using Monat. I can tell that with mine as well. I've been using it since the spring. Definite growth and less fall out. I enjoyed your video about the products. xo

Thanks Crystal...I agree, my hair has incredible shine with these products...Lou has new growth...it is really unbelievable...I also have less fall out now...with menopause, it was really starting to thin...I also did not go through a detox period...I think it's because I was using Colorproof which is also made without chemicals and silicones...

Your hair is everything! So beautiful, and it suits you so well. I don't know how many of the Babyliss roller sets I have used through the years, but I simply can't live without them. They've been all over the world with me. Unlike you, my hair is so fine that I never needed to use the plastic clips. But the rollers give great volume to my hair which again as you say, give me a more polished look. A softer look to my aging face I think. Jumping over to your tutorial now😊

First, Tammy, you have always had extraordinarily beautiful hair, you were the first UA-camr I watched and I have always had your hair as my 'hair goals'. Second, I have had a set of almost identical rollers for around 2 yrs, and every attempt was a disaster.....previous sets = same thing. Frustrating because I am a legend in my own mind with things like blow-drying, conical styler etc....but I can't use a curling tong or a hot roller?! Today, I have watched this video (twice) and just taken the rollers out and I am having palpitations over my hair....I have finally got me some Hollywood va va va voom! I can also see what I need to do better next time, but OMG I am 75% of the way there.....this is sooooo good, thank you, I am almost in tears!

Tammy, you are sooooo right. It's hard to find rollers that are one size. First of all, I just kept buying the typical rollers with the four puny rollers that are useless. So I'm on the hunt for the rollers you recommend. Also, what do you do with the fur babies when you do your facials, hair, etc. Can you imagine a spa day with the fur babies pouncing around!

I've been blessed with a hair stylist who has helped me do so. I still occasionally suffer from the "hormone hair" you mention with the top layers of flyaway, my hair is also white beneath my color. You are my hair-spiration. You know I emulate (that's a fancy word 😂) your hair! I much prefer a "polished" look. That's one of the reasons I don't often go natural with my hair, because it's too beachy and casual for what I prefer to do. As I was watching this, it dawned on me that our hair seems to be very similar. That's why I have hair envy. ❤️ xoxo, Swoozie

I'm watching this during the coronavirus time period. My hair has grown so much so now I'm ready to watch and learn from your hair tutorials. Finally.👍🏼 I wonder how you get your haircut/styled. You said you are a hairstylist so you probably do it yourself. It looks like you have some layers in there. Your hair is gorgeous!

Hi, great video! I've used flocked hot rollers for probably many years. I didn't ever like flat irons and curling irons. Remember when they had the curling irons that were flocked too? I used one then. I just think the flocking on it helps reduce damage. I cannot find one flocked now and wish they would make one again. Your hair is always beautiful. I've gone almost 3 months since color or trim. My dad died and I just let myself go, of which I never ever used to do. But I'm getting it trimmed and color tomorrow. I think I"m going for a shoulder length bob. I've never had short hair. Will be 54 in 2 weeks and still like my hair to my shoulders at least. One more question, I have the same kind of set with Conair. I've looked online at the Babybliss but didn't know if they were better. Have you ever compared the two sets? They are the same size and have same number of rollers.

Hair looks fabulous Tammy. Very old Hollywood. Even the music you use is classic! Love that jazz. Have you ever considered cutting your hair shorter to a shoulder length long bob? I think it would look amazing. :)

No ...I don't care for a bob on me...In the summer I wear it long...in the fall I cut it just above wear our bra strap runs...I really am a long hair girl...and Lou likes it long...my shoulders and nose are to prominent for shorter hair...and to be honest, I feel blah with shorter hair...believe it or not, I have had many different hairstyles...even a pixie...chin length...long suits me best!
