In 1999 for qualy they had fuel for one/two laps because if I'm not mistaken the outlap was counted as well in those 12 laps, it was a 1 hour session which meant that you could do 1 ran(outlap and pushlap) every 10 minutes; that's what I remember, sorry if it's wrong😅.
Great video as always Tom! One of the best comebacks ever. Eddie Irvine said in an interview that Michael hadnt driven in many months and then they did a test at mugello of all places which is one of the hardest tracks in the world and he did 2 laps and was only 2 tenths slower than Irvine, then a couple of laps later he went faster by half a second and Irvine couldn't get his head around it how it was possible.

As some already said: no race fuel in 1999, and also no Parc Fermé rules, so qualy setup for them. Love the series, keep it up!
Sebs pole lap at Silverstone 2009 or even china 2009 ( there he only had one single pushlap for each Q1, Q2, Q3 and got pole and the next day took Red Bulls first ever win. Definitely a historic and underrated pole lap for these facts ) ❤
and according to christian horner vettel had some mechanical problem on his pole lap in china. (he said it in the grill the grid team principal edition from 2017)
In 1999 you had 12 laps in total including in and out laps. So either 3 runs of 4 laps or 4 runs of 3 laps. This lasted until 2002 and the big teams by the end were using qualifying specific engines that could only do 12 lap which bought about the big rule change for 2003 with single lap qualifying on race fuel load and the introduction of parce ferme.
Villeneuve Pole at Melbourne 1997, when he went almost 2 seconds faster than his team mate Frentzen? (I found it was that fast looking at related Wikipedia page)
Which track conditions do you run for these challenges? Sometimes i smaah your times without any problems after only a few laps but other times i cannot beat it at all...

Exactly what I was missing in my UA-cam recommendations. Thanks Tom for once again delivering this absolute masterpiece of a series and videos
🤝🤝
This lap was unreal considering this was his first race back! You should do Vettel in Australia 2011. He was 8 tenths ahead of his nearest challenger.
Ralf Schumacher's pole position with Toyota at the 2005 Japanese Grand Prix? Another fan favourite track that's a real challenge to drive.

I'm from Poland so Barhain 2008 PP from Robert Kubica will be amazing to see!
It's on my list!
@@Tom97 Perfect ;)
Love the screaming V10, what I wouldn't give to return to these days...
I'd love to see Hamilton Korea 2011 (The only non RB pole that year)
love the vids man💪
6:36 the race fuel Quali wasn't the thing until 2003
Would love to see you do another f1 race with 2023 cars at a circuit that currently isn’t on the calendar. Great vid!
Love these vids Tom!💙
Schumacher was 👌👌👌👌..Great video 😊
Awesome. I love this series.
Sepang and Malaysia mentioned 🗣🇲🇾💯
Greatest qualifying by Schumacher ever
Content like this is amazing Tom, pls keep doing this.💙
P.s, maybe you could do the opposite of your worst cars video. Best f1 cars?
Great video as per. But once again, I am asking you to do Felipe Massa’s 2008 Singapore GP Pole Lap!
No fuel restrictions this era - in quali they would carry 3 laps' fuel - out, hot, in
I Think it Would be Nice if you could show the pole lap onboard that the driver did before you do the lap
I know why he changed it, but i wish he hadnt. That helmet is so iconic.
1999 had 12 lap/1 hour qualifying no race fuel.. and no TC
Hope that helps

just flew arround the track
Can you try to beat Lewis Hamilton’s pole lap at the 2011 South Korean GP time 1:35.820 now that would be an interesting video to watch
Which track conditions do you run for these challenges? Sometimes i smaah your times without any problems after only a few laps but other times i cannot beat it at all...
Can you try to beat Mario Andretti 1976 Japanese GP Pole Time
Next 1990 Monaco, Senna pole?
Damn I always Like How Tf We Lost Malaysian GP🙃
It's up to the team how much fuel they're use doing qualifying

No race fuel in qualy and TC should've been OFF.
