Super articulate and coherent exploration of grappling! You are separating yourself apart from the more imprecise communicators in this domain. Keep it up
Appreciate that more than you know, thanks for tuning in, much more to come.
Israel do limp leg too and i think he has some great takedown defense
Exactly. The strikers, and grapplers for that matter, who figure out how to defend well against wrestlers earn the right to relax and focus/assert their own offense. Al Iaquinta actually utilized the Limp Leg well against Khabib, stuffing many of his shot attempts.
Great stuff man, beast wrestling.
Do you do any private lessons by chance? I train at that gym too (Octo/Muay Thai with Rex). I love martial arts for self-defense, but currently, my wrestling skills are non-existent 😅
Would love to pick up some essential wrestling skills someday that would complement my striking.

I like the new thing your doing with the channel #NotiGang 🔔
Truly appreciate it brother been working hard, so glad it's elevating the experience.
Nice
Very nice :)
How good can you get at wrestling from no gi BJJ, I never wrestled but I try to drill it as much as possible and incorporate it into my rolls.
X2
In theory; if age, time constraints, and access to elite training partners aren't an issue, the sky's the limit. In reality though, the average person experiences at least one of these constraints, which is one of the reasons I created this channel (next best thing to a good partner is good technique) so that anyone with the heart to pursue wrestling at least has access to the technique. Keep training on the feet as much as you can and you'll be pretty damn good in a few years. You won't ever catch the D1 wrestlers, but you CAN catch them with submissions. My thought process is I want my wrestling to be better than any Jiu Jitsu practitioner's takedown game and my Jiu Jitsu to be better than any wrestlers bjj game. This way you can always force them into an area where they're uncomfortable/outmatched. Easier said than done, but sounds like you're in the right head space. Keep it up 🙏🏻
Nice concept sesh 👌
Wait you're 33 years old?
about to turn 32, started wrestling at age 3. We start'em young in the Midwest!
