All of you are so brave. I am so happy for you. Glad that your drs were proactive rather than reactive. Our daughter died. After her death we found out her dr went against her consent. He gave her high intensity conditioning vs the low that she consented to after the dr told her how well it works...less toxic and lower tissue damage. When uou have bad symptoms speak up and make yourself heard. Our daughter had diarrhea, which is a symptom of gvhd. Please tell your drs right away so you can get the colonoscopy that you need. It took our daughter 8 days to get her colonoscopy...shevwent into the hospital Friday before Memorial Day weekend did not get the colonoscopy until Tuesday. She had gvhd stage 4 to the gut. Hoping to help all of you with this info. Prayers for all of you!

I was diagnosed with AML last December, got induction therapy in December and got bone marrow transplant on June 8 2022, I’m day+57 today. I’m in Winnipeg, came here for studies after 12th and currently stuck with this. I hope you are doing better and in good health, and would appreciate if you have any positive thoughts about the transplant because my doctor said I may have gvhd or rejection and stuff and I’m scared of all that.
Did your transplant happen? Don't worry You only feel heat after ATG but that's it That also may not happen My transplant happened in 2019 may 17 And also been interviewed by DKMS I was only 9 when it happened
