Are algorithms a new system of dictatorship and control?
Twenty years ago, the internet and all the free services offered through it were starting
to disrupt our lives. We accepted them with happiness and relief as they made
our life rich and efficient.
But, in the last years, we realized that those free services weren't that free after all
and that they came with a hidden cost: our data, or what it's the same, our personal
information.
AI and algorithms were slowly improved and implemented behind the curtains of
these platforms to gather, analyze, and save this vast amount of data that now is
being weaponized against us with military precision and diverse goals in mind like
marketing or political campaigns.

A few voices recently started to sound the alarm about the danger of a society manipulated
by those who control this data.
