- Z - BTD6 / Bloons TD 6. Zilch, absolutely zero upgrades start with the letter Z. Here's a zealous attempt at bending the rules so we can zoom past 100 rounds of bazaar.

Starting with 1: you can only use towers with upgrade prices that start with 1.

A fun little fact on the prince of darkness, guided magic greatly extends the lifespan on his summons, and it gives his powerful attack homing. You don't really need the +1 damage from his second upgrade, so it's generally pretty minimal investment for him to get much better use of his pierce.
Yup. I see so many people get 0-2-5 because they simp so hard for wall of fire. But a 1/2-0-5 is so much better than a 0-2-5. They dont realise how much damage they miss out on cause the zombie bloons die early.
@@robertharris6092 might be because 0-2-5 used to be better i believe
0-2-2 > 0-2-4 used to be a dominant wizard-involving early game start, even if it got abandoned for their main mid-late strat, so by force of habit 0-2-5 was meta almost entirely due to the lower tier imbalance, let alone the likely lack of major crosspath value from 1-0-5, and the lack luster 2-0-5 value didnt make it much better.
025 is still pretty good even now. Remember that PoD gives extra damage per graveyard, which applies to the Wall for as much as 10 extra damage, which is nutty. They've been making an effort to balance crosspaths, and for PoD either one can be good depending on the situation.
@@robertharris6092Eh, both are good. But 0-2-2 is a much easier build up to the pod and that's why people use it much more

3:07 I can't believe you missed the chance of saying "Bazaar is bizarre"
As you mentioned, it is very common to subconsciously use z instead of zed, I hold the phrase "ctrl c, ctrl v" at fault, because it's commonly used to rhyme, applying to ctrl z as well. Congrats on a partial ending to this series by the way! Whatever twists you have planned are interesting.
This falls in line with my thinking on the pronunciation. The are so many letters that fall into the scheme of rhyming with “E” (B, C, D, E, G, P, T, and V) that is only seems natural to give it to “Z” as well. Not to mention, if you had to spell out the pronunciation of most letters it could be done with only one other letter (“S” as “es” for example) so having a letter that needs 2 other letters to spell out the pronunciation (“Z” as “zed”) seems like and intentionally weird choice.
I had gotten out of the swing of watching Bloons content, but this classic-style ISAB video brought me back. Love it!
The series has finally ended, now let’s try the Greek alphabet.
I was new to btd6 a few years back when I started watching ISAB, It’s really amazing to see this series last 3.5 years. Thank you for taking us on the ride ISAB. Cheers to many more!

The Z challange is actually maybe kinda possible in portuguese, since you get Zona das Tachinhas (Tack Zone), Zero Absoluto (Absolute Zero) and Zona de Exclusão de Bloons (Bloons Exclusion Zone), for the map it would still have to be Bazaar but in pt it's spelled Bazar so it's even more Z than in english, finally, for gamemode it would be Esvaziamento (Deflation).

I really wish for all of the letters that rhymed with “the” from SpongeBob that you would’ve said them with that same cadence….. 😂😂 “zuh” and “doublyuh” for w.. and for v “vuh”. Idk just would’ve been so funny to hear.

On the topic of the pronunciation of the letter Z: Zee is American, and Zed is British. As Canada was originally British, Zed is considered more correct in Canada.

Now here’s a brilliant idea. Instead of using all the towers that start or have the letter A in them, how bout a series where you have to use towers WITHOUT that specific letter. So if it were E, M.A.D. Would be fine but not SupEr Mines

zed is the prononciation we use in french and in canada some people can speak french so i think that's why there's both zee and zed

This was a long journey and I'm sad to see it end. Worth the 3 and a half years to experience it. Better build up than the MCU.
Could do a numbers run as an encore. One Two Tree, Four Circles, or Quad maps. Double HP MOABS for game mode.Triple Shot, Absolute Zero, Triple Guns, Ground Zero, Quad Darts, The Biggest One, Double Gun, and XXL Trap(if you want to count Roman Numerals). Being a little cheeky with the double, triple, and quad as numbers, but I think some of the letters stretched it more than that.

I don't know how trivial or difficult this may be but what about a themed challenge where the only upgrades that can be used are ones mentioned specifically for a monkey knowledge for that upgrade specifically, for extra irony do the challenge on chimps

Might I recommend either the true blood challenge (no crosspaths), or beating chimps with only tier 2 or 3. Not sure if it's already been done though.
He was worried about the heli not being Z but neither of the ice monkeys dropped at the back were z either…..

Zee is a much better pronunciation of the letter. I mean there a lot of letters that end with "ee" so it just suits better, B, C, D, E, G, P, T, V
Should have done it on Z factor map in map editor (hope it was already made). I'm so obssessed with hard difficulty track from btd 2, wish to see it remade in map editor and see a playthrough of it
okay now time to do one for upgrades with a hyphen, apostrophe and numbers in the name. theres probably some more symbols that are in some upgrades but these are the most common i think

It would be cool if you could re run through all the letters and improve them like for Z you used the 0-0-0 heli. And for another challenge you could do a harder gamemode

I'm honestly not sure that 025 PoD was the better crosspath here. Guided magic would have given the zombies more range, so they'd have started damaging the BAD far more early on.
Here in my country l, we call it Z. Which in English would be "zor lesh E".

Can’t believe ISAB didn’t try the 025 PoD, which is much cheaper to get the WoF crosspath than getting so many ice monkeys
Suggestion for you ISAB for if you want to superbuff sauda. make the track have multiple exits to make saudas level 10/20 ability more powerful

As a fellow Canadian, i always say zed when i am spelling something or talking about the letter, but if it is in an acronym i say zee
