- There is a LOT that can be said from PG Kizzie Kay about Johnny players in Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2. Sometimes they are disrespectful, other times they throw their games. But one thing's for sure: He is GOD tier in this game, and Kizzie won't stop until he is able to take each and every one of them down for good.

As someone who's purely a spectator for this game, I understand that many GG players hate both playing against and watching Johnny, but I really never get tired of it. His animations, character design and voice actor are all just so cool

@@TKZhyon see that’s the problem. Imagine you got beat up by a dude who did all the cool moves in kungfu movies. Makes you look like a moron. Same concept here. He’s so oppressive and cool, people just hate losing against him.
As soon as he came out I instantly became a johnny main.
The design, the movement, the combination of rushdown and strong normals. The actual dustloops.
However its completely lopsided, the one drawback he has is bad aa coverage and that can be completely ignored with risk free predictions.
Long range youre getting poked, mid your getting locked down or dashed on. Close up its daylights, blocking is just not an option once the coins are up.

@@sean2848 i found out about GG when strive was announced, and I LOVE watching rev2 and strive. I realy want to play the game and "git gud".
Im hesitant to get rev2 because:
im not sure if rev2 skills = strive skills.
I dont want to invest a ton of time learning a game ppl have already mastered.
And most importantly I dont want to wait in an emtpy lobby.
Should I wait for strive to release or get rev2, to train for strive? Thoughts?

KING GEEDRA I’m in a similar situation. I don’t have time to make getting Xrd worth it. I’m just gonna go deep into Strive when it comes out, I think it’s gonna be a lot better than what people are making it out to be. Plus rollback baby and it’s a new game so there will be other noobs like me. However I will say, xrd looks fucking amazing and I have never regretted anything more than not playing this game when it came out.

This game is on sale and I’m highly considering getting it so I won’t be a complete noob when strive comes out. My only problem is that I don’t own a pc so I would have to get it on ps4, and I heard it’s dead on ps4. It is really? Because I really want to get this game

@@egrassa1480 yeah he's no venom but unlike KY if he's anything like the AC days to be effective you have to basically live in the lab studying MF setups frame traps and RC fakeouts. KY can fall back on some braindead stuff that Johnny just can't although that might have changed.

Bought GGXRDREV2 because it was on sale, and even though I'm terrible at most fighting games in general I fell in love with Johnny. Then I found out everyone hates him so I guess I gotta pick a new main

Played online for the first time today. I decided i wanted to play answer and the matches were against johnny. I had no knowledge about the tier list of this game... Everything soon became clear as soon as i typed "johnny" into the search bar.
He’s only really overpowered in high level play, without all of those insanely difficult high level tricks hes still pretty good but not the best
