Started to not watch thinking it would be boring. Nope, drew me in wanting to buy all the 80's toys now and wanting to relive my childhood! Thank you for memory lane.
Glad you enjoyed it. When I was flipping through it remembering things I had long forgotten I thought it would be fun to share with everyone.
Yes. 1981. 6 year old me thanks you for this memory. Me and my grandfather would play Super Breakout for hours on the 2600. So I would have to say that game for favorite just for the memories alone.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can't wait til you find '84 or '85 catalogs....more vintage lines will fill up the pages to be in awe of. Great video, thanks.
I know we found some other ones, I'm not sure what years they were I haven't unpacked the box yet. Glad you enjoyed the video.
We circled what we wanted every year I think until middle school:) I was all about strawberry shortcake!
My sister was a Strawberry Shortcake fanatic
WOW!!!! Thanks for that trip down memory lane!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS! GOD BLESS! STAY SAFE!
Merry Christmas 🎄
I remember that catalog well.
Cool blast from the past and now you have a price guide
My brother had the cowboy fringe shirt! He was 1 and it was one of our Sears portraits in our house
Awesome🤠
This catalog is one of my fav finds ... it’s been so fun to flip thru. And yep... I actually had to resist the urge to grab a marker and start circling things I wanted for Christmas!!
I may still have a boom box from that catalog.
Awesome
My favourite toy line is the original G1 My Little Pony. I still have the ones me and my sisters had along with about 150 more. I have about half of the North American release.
Wow that sounds like an epic collection
I did in 85 and 86 thanks for the content.
You're welcome Merry Christmas 🎄☃️
Funny, there is full representation in that catalogue, before 2016 when it was invented on twitter
We did the same in the uk with the Argos catalogue, spending hours looking at toys we wanted
The ventriloquist dolls! I wanted one so bad!
Me too! Although now... not so much.
Blast from
The last indeed, where is my marker to circle things for the Christmas list
I had the 1981 Sears Christmas Edition Wish book because I’ve found it back on EBay a couple of years ago and looking through this book really brings back so many childhood memories since I love looking through the toy section because they still had The Star Wars collection way before G.I. Joe & The Transformers plus all of the models in the book were then young during that time & I sometimes have dreams about this catalog since it been lost to time since it was thrown out for trash due to mold since its been in the basement .
Definitely a time capsule of childhood memories!
Cool! I received a Star Wars watch for Christmas It's #15. 1:51
Awesome! Merry Christmas ☃️🎄
So cool thanks for the memories!
Glad you enjoyed it
We had the console tv with the wood frame
Ahhh the toys. Me and my siblings would argue over who got to look first. I was the youngest, i always lost. We would write everything down including prices and page numbers! Our lists were long. 😁🍭🎄
Thanks for sharing!!
Hero was the best atari game
My favorite for TimeWise is about 30-40 minutes for picking and preferably live for unboxings so that way we can ask questions ...
Emma - thanks for the feedback!
We had that exact swing set except it was red!
I know we had one as kids, I think it was blue 😁
Wow, D&D in the Sears catalog. That would be right around the time my interests moved from Star Wars to RPG’s. I was 13. I do remember getting that Jeep slot car set with the flexible road section. The last Star Wars ship I got was the Snow Speeder, probably Christmas 80. My figure line ended part way through ESB, but over the years I have completed the Empire line, loose.
Very cool
Thank you for doing this, what a nice escape for me this Christmas! My uncle was an avid toy collector, his entire basement was finished with wall to wall glass display cabinets loaded with everything you could imagine.I remember spending time with him while he worked on model cars and I would go through those SEARS catalogs that he had and we would chat about toys.He passed away several years ago,my dad a couple years ago and my mother just passed this year so this is my first Christmas without all of them. This brought back very warm Christmas memories of all of them, thank you again so much.
Sorry for your losses, I'm glad this could bring back some good Christmas memories for you. Merry Christmas.
Aww J Robb .... I hope you’re doing good through these holidays and reflecting on the happy times. I know it’s hard. My mom has been gone 7 years now and I still miss her terribly. I’m glad this catalog cheered you some!!!
Thank you so much, this was very good of you to take time to reply!I'm sorry to know of your loss as well.We had several inches of snow for Christmas morning here in Ohio, reminded me of all those Christmas mornings as a child surrounded by Star Wars toys and Transformers!
Ah--the Amazon of the 80's. But my memories are of 1950's and early 60's catalogue. Everything came from Sears catalogue. even furniture.
Don't forget houses!
Awesome! I hope you have more of what you guys found! Not sure what the private vids are but wish I could see them!
Whoa. That chick in the full snoopy leotard/underooos?!
could you please do more sears wish books videos i love this video
the last page: The sears video arcade, aka just an atari 2600 but different stickers. I have one, works the same and I got it cheap.
Favorite Atari game------Battle Tank
I hope to see Jarts! (lawn darts)
Im 😳too see all the toys repeat john rose youtube is right
That book is 2 weeks younger than Jamie
Lol!!! Are you trying to make us feel old?!? 😂
Cool time capsule house. Are you guys in Michigan?
Yep, our shop is opening early next year in Utica
24:35 Skip to Star Wars. :D
I notice in your 80s toy house you found a few MASK vehicles. Do you still have those for sale?
At 12:25 on the right page, bottom right corner is a small yellow bike. What is the info on that, the name on the chain guard etc? And at 17:56 on the left page, top left there's a toy you could make Indy wax cars, what is the info on that toy? Please and thank you
the bike says Sum Duster on the chain guard the other one is Master Caster by Mattel
@@SargeRedsVintageToys thank you!
The lingerie section of catalogues like this was my generation's Pornhub.
