Without the major event that Break Dance ‘84 has been, and without all of it’s participating artists, rap combo Dubmatique could very well have never existed. But how did the hip-hop culture evolve up to this high point of 1984? Imposs and his guests go all the way back to 1978 to unearth the roots of local hip-hop.

I watched the entire documentary. Mad props to Felix, Imposs, and the crew; it was incredibly insightful. Some of the people involved, like DJ Choice and Chuck Ice, don't do many interviews, which makes it even more special.
