All three first releases are great! It's hard to pick overall favorite, but Battle Cry has the best tone of em all for me. Others still really great, too. Happy to have scored old US press some years ago on vinyl of it. In addition I do have represses of all three first. Would be cool to gather originals of the second and third release, though.
I bought this (Battle Cry) on cassette back in ‘84. A good album, and one I occasionally still listen to. Back in those days, there wasn’t any way of hearing the music before you bought it, so it was usually just going on gut instinct. It brings back a few good memories of my teen days. Thanks for the video footage. I’ve never seen them play even on video! I think if this was filmed in LA, it explains the “dead” audience. I’ve heard many times that LA audiences were like that, probably just seeing so bands and being indifferent.
Warlord is great! I was thinking about recommending it to you. I may be hard to understand, but I love that their compositions feel complete and natural. Nothing is forced there. The songs aren't too fast, they have nice melodies, great riffs and drums. I think you will like it.
We did The Axeman on our first EP.
NICE VIDEO! Metal School sent me 🤘🏻
I had this album in high school. Loved the band.. great memories.. thanks...
I am a big fan of this band. Band that should be much more recognized worldwide than it is. J.D. Kimball (rip)
Greetings from Argentina

Teeth of the hydra is awesome and the bass is brutal.
A good battle of the bands could be King Crimson vs. Ozzy Osbourne: 21st Century Schizoid Man
Epic reaction! Still waiting for you guys to do Beast in Black
Funny thing is, IMO anyway, is that The Axeman is the weakest song on the album. Just goes to show why this album was epic.
