I'll leave the rest here* I wrote my opinion on all the episodes either on this video or on my another video of the same drama that I made (in description + comments). If you have time, you can check those out. *P.S.7 ep 10:* In the beginning of the episode itself, I had this sinking feeling that their happiness will be short lived. There it was, he was just ending it all and he gave a wedding bait to bring her back to home , oh no! ~~the hell of course not home~~. Hehe what a gentleman Oni is? "I'm the kidnapper" and then ~~bows~~ to the parents lol not forgetting the manners huh? Glad that Oni asked the parents, why was she abused? I wanted to know that too! But sad the twisted parents did not give any convincing reason. As a viewer, I was looking forward to some answering there. The mother even had the audacity to say that there was no abuse. When these people were trying to blame it all on Oni, I was literally on the edge. How dare they? It was thrilling to watch how Oni turned the tables in his favor. Hehe folks you messed with the wrong guy. He's here to take you down. I remember the mother saying "what's wrong with hitting her? and she is a worthless brat" Are you for real? Where in the f#ng hell did she derive this logic from? How is she worthless? She gets good grades and puts up with your abuse at the end of the day. It's the parents who are the worthless mess. Then comes the.. Ah! the classic trick of recording and the classic dumbassery of saying see I recorded everything. That's what I thought but there was more to it. It was to enrage her mother so that she would turn violent and Oni can finally find a reason worth dying for. I think it was his calculated decision. I mean he must be aware that he's going to prison at least for the murder of the creepy teacher and if that happens he might not be able to see Sachi anytime soon. I don't know about Japanese laws but if it turns to life imprisonment then it'd be the ending of their short lived happiness right there. Either way, he was doomed. Die or rot in a prison cell for years. So, he did what he had to as there was no escaping and no happy ever after. In the end, he did swallow a 1000 needles. My heart sank big time.. I knew it ain't gonna be roses in the end.. I thought I was ready.. but it was just too sad. Onii dying.. I can't. I won't change the ending, it is the perfect logical ending even if it hit me so hard. When I watched the RAW, I thought someone called the hospital and he survived somehow and then they got married. Back then, I didn't see it till the end where the girl was lying with her eyes shut. And the moral question she raised.."Did we do something wrong?". My take, of course they didn't. Just because it is written in a certain book of law doesn't make it right which btw keeps on changing as society evolves. Somethings can't be seen in black and white, there are grey areas. You have to see things in all it's entirety before judging them. Same goes with their relationship. Even the police is aware that the laws are too black and white. Still they are doing their jobs by the book and not bringing their personal feelings in the case. But I don't know whether I should applaud them for that? ~~Enough rambling!~~ Coming back to the drama. As far as I understood, the marriage ceremony was all in her head that never really happened. Because she said "my happiness is STILL getting married to you" ~~STILL~~, and that is 2 years after Oni died when she was walking towards his apartment so they did not marry, I assume. Or perhaps it was symbolic of their happiness and them meeting in heaven or something after they both died. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not too sure but that's my interpretation. So basically she found her happiness in death and she decided it for herself. I don't know what to say about that. It's too controversial but then again who am I too judge what's good for her. She even said in one of the episodes that she'll be the judge of her own happiness. *OVERALL* This drama is really special to me. This is the first time I left somewhat detailed documentation of how I felt through each episode. *I RECOMMEND 100%.* Watch it if you haven't already. 10/10 for the acting, directing, music etc.. maybe a 9.8 for the writing. It could have been better. Somethings were not explained and I'm just saying that because of how perfect it was and hence I had very high expectations of it. *IMPRESSED*
this story is heart breaking, but what they showed is the truth, we all expect a happy ending for everything but this is the dark truth, there is no way they would have survived this, but at least they were together...
I have already finished this drama and it reveals that im not that happy as i thought. And all your words about each episode gave me peace. Like i wanted to right about it , but i saw you did and explained all my questions ... All i want to say is that... this drama doesn't reflect the society with bullying, it is saying that we have to find a meaning for living and you have to retry . You don't have to be alone. If you knew at one time what love meant, then try to figure out why you lost it and try to find that passion... This story is kinda similar with Kindred's story from league of legends: like someone who knows the feelings and cannot take action, and someone feeling less , but they are learning together. So.. yes... Im reliefed now.
The stalker is the only one that loves her. I don't think they should have stopped it because it is like the stalker rescued her from the abuse that was happening. But still don't trust anyone that stalks you no matter what.
If the stalker is as kind and handsome like him, i would rather stay with him.. ran away from the abusive parents and family, bullying at school, and a bad manners from the teacher....
I'm so hooked into this drama I can't wait till ep 5. I'm glad the detective is already is suspicious of her mother but since they now know that she's alive they are not gonna close the case... I would be shattered if they get caught and get separated... both of them deserves happiness, their whole life has been too shi**y from the beginning.

So, I'll just leave it here for the remaining episodes.* *P.S.3 ep 6:* This episode was such an emotional roller coaster ride. I don't know the term for this kind of direction, but how they alternatively use the silence and music in the drama makes me connect to it. It was so painful to watch how broken she was to the point of no return. The only time I smiled in the episode was when oni was tailing her around (I'm not going to use harsh words like stalker anyone, your thoughts may differ from mine) like a guardian. Finally, it made more sense why he said what he said. Persuasion wouldn't have worked on her. All that was needed was a drastic step of kindness to make her feel wanted and to take her mind of the misery. Also, he is a reasonable adult and I like how he's handling the things. Of course, he never expected her to agree to accompany him (I mean, who would?). He took a shot in the dark, and it hit the mark (I chuckled at the moment when she said "Really?" and I had the same expression as oni... what just happened?). But, I just felt she wanted someone to stop her, that's why she was faking the excitement and agreed, so easily, even she was ready to step into another hell. It was so heart warming to see when he said that she can live as per her wish. I can understand the reasons for the first lie. I think if I were in his shoes I'd have done the same. How can you just convince a person that you are just doing it out of kindness.Saying "I like you" is an easy way out. Now, that he has spilled the truth (Truth... I don't even have words to describe it. It's just straight and made sense.), I'm exited to see how their relationship will proceed (I know, they're getting married., thanks to the 10 RAW I watched but I want to see the development to that). *P.S.4 ep 7:* I had to see this ep twice. Since the drama is such a perfection, so my hopes for it are very high. I was a bit disappointed that they did not show how the cop deducted that she ran away. It seemed far fetched or maybe I missed out on something. In the end, when they held hands...Aww, I was all smiles. *P.S. 5 ep 8:* The episode started off on a warm note with them moving to the new place. Well! it's just the calm before the storm. Life on the run can never be easy. Like we've seen in the previous episodes, she tends to speak a lot and fakes excitement when she wants someone to stop her from doing something. That's exactly what she was doing in the beginning of the ep but I wasn't exactly sure what was bugging her apart from the fear of being caught until the end of the episode when she had those conversations with Maki. Even Oni was skeptic of the life on the run. He even said "how long are we going to carry on?", I'm pretty sure she heard that but chose to ignore it instead. They both have so much going on at the back of their heads but it is understandable that they can't discuss it with each other. For Sachi, she relied on Maki to talk to as she just don't want Oni to abandon her if she spoke what's on her mind to him. Poor girl! Of course she wants a normal life but there is so much on the line.. in her own words "it's the first time I feel scared of loosing someone". And for Oni, I think he don't want to burden her so even he chooses to remain mute on the reality. Ok! I just fail to understand why her dad is so cold, I somehow understand her mom's behavior. She fears an impending divorce and is aware that their marriage will crumble down anytime. As she is not earning a living for herself, she needs financial security and that's maybe the reason for her to be putting up with her husband. She's just abusing the child on behalf of her husband in order to please him or something. Perhaps she regrets marrying him in the first place and therefore despises the child. ~~Ah, Lordy! they are such twisted people~~ When Sachi ran to the crime scene, I was like is she dumb or what? That's too dangerous. I had the same question as oni, what are you trying to do, girl? Wanna get caught? Towards the end when Maki suggested what Sachi needs to do, in my opinion that's legit the right thing to do and perhaps even a good advice. Still there runs a risk, judging the pros and cons of the situation, I wouldn't have gone back either. Honestly, the Utopian advises looks good on paper but the reality is too grim. I don't expect her to chose the path of returning back. All was going well until Maki said, I'll end it for you.. wtf just happened. I wasn't prepared for this? How? Suddenly it took a 360 degree turn? When she pushed Maki, I thought this turned into a big mess now and oni is going to console her or something ..BUT.. BUT.. what a surprise.. "Who is Maki?".. that's the least anyone would expect? Is she schizophrenic or what? That's what popped into my head instantly. And it ended with the creep spotting them. OK! what a cliffhanger! *P.S.6 ep 9:* The ending of previous episode had me thinking that she was in dire need of medical aid but I don't think it is a feasible option for them at the moment. After, she said that Maki's words were her own words, I went back to their previous conversation and I begin to see it in a different light. OK! That's what was bugging her. She did not want to continue the things as they were. She wants it to end.. to report her parents and teacher's abuse to the police and to save Oni from the wrath of the law by giving the testimony. Even the words of Oni from previous episode "how long are we going to carry on?" might have added to her decision of ending things as they were then. Plus the real culprits were roaming free out there without paying for their sins and Oni was perceived as a criminal.There is no way Oni could redeem himself if things continued the way they were. I think, it's not just for the selfish reason of leading a normal life is what makes her want to get back. It maybe the bigger picture of saving Oni or it maybe that I'm over analyzing things. Even if her reasons were to lead a normal life.. that's fine too, she deserves it. When Oni asked, what did she talked with Maki .. obviously the things she is afraid to say to you DUUHH! But! finally he said it aloud that she should return to a normal life.. the discussion happened face to face. And, she pulled her last move of keeping Oni close, the wedding ceremony. If that happens, she knows he'll be sticking with her for a lifetime no matter what and won't be just a stranger anymore who can bail out anytime on her. Or at least, they'd be dying together if everything turns ugly for them. "Happiness has nothing to do with money or status , it depends who you spend your time with!" Golden words right here and they may be the very gist of the drama. It even showed Oni past when he lost someone dear to him and in the aftermath of which he wanted to end his life. Why he hates sun sets so much, there it was.. the reason. I just love the attention to the detail in this drama. Every dialogue has a meaning and connection to something in the drama. Yes, the bucket of mamma's sins is already brimming, time to pay for it! With it comes down the marriage. And my goodness, here comes the return of the creep. How in the f****ng hell he landed a job of a teacher? I still wonder that! But I must admit the actor is going a darn good job portraying this character. Of all the people on this drama, this man really needs to be locked up. He's a trash who deserves no ounce of sympathy whatsoever. I don't understand his obsession with Sachi? I get that she is an easy target to exploit but why'd he want to kill himself? Wish they showed some background story there or I might have just missed out the reason. Ok! The highlight of this episode ..when Oni got stabbed and when the creep died.. I legit was screaming at my screen. This is too easy of a death for him.. He should have rotten in the cells of the prison for rest of his life. It ended with my girl being conflicted no more. She made up her mind of sticking together with Oni. She settled the conflict with her alter ego Maki and finally they are on the same page. I've no idea what the last episode has in store. I only saw the RAW several months ago. With the subs the drama is all different. I already feel sad for Oni, he has too few options. Chances of him being convicted for the murder are too high even if escapes the kidnapping charges. I don't know if my heart can take it.
Guys can someone tell me if this is a sad ending or a happy ending?? Her life is so depressing and I can't call the stalker a criminal since he's the reason why she found a chance to live again since her parents abuse her, her classmates bully her, idk if that man sexually harassing her(the black haired with the glasses(?) And she can't voice out her thoughts because no one chose her side except the stalker. The stalker did nothing wrong with her I mean yes he did stalk her, took pics of her and yes I think it is creepy but he did not rape her nor kill her or torture her. Please I hope this is a happy ending because she really can't find reasons to live with all those hypocrite people

It even showed Oni past when he lost someone dear to him and in the aftermath of which he wanted to end his life. Why he hates sun sets so much, there it was.. the reason. I just love the attention to the detail in this drama. Every dialogue has a meaning and connection to something in the drama.
Yes, the bucket of mamma's sins is already brimming, time to pay for it! With it comes down the marriage. And my goodness, here comes the return of the creep. How in the f****ng hell he landed a job of a teacher? I still wonder that! But I must admit the actor is going a darn good job portraying this character. Of all the people on this drama, this man really needs to be locked up. He's a trash who deserves no ounce of sympathy whatsoever. I don't understand his obsession with Sachi? I get that she is an easy target to exploit but why'd he want to kill himself? Wish they showed some background story there or I might have just missed out the reason.
Ok! The highlight of this episode ..when Oni got stabbed and when the creep died.. I legit was screaming at my screen. This is too easy of a death for him.. He should have rotten in the cells of the prison for rest of his life.
It ended with my girl being conflicted no more. She made up her mind of sticking together with Oni. She settled the conflict with her alter ego Maki and finally they are on the same page.
I've no idea what the last episode has in store. I only saw the RAW several months ago. With the subs the drama is all different. I already feel sad for Oni, he has too few options. Chances of him being convicted for the murder are too high even if escapes the kidnapping charges. I don't know if my heart can take it.

Guys can someone tell me if this is a sad ending or a happy ending?? Her life is so depressing and I can't call the stalker a criminal since he's the reason why she found a chance to live again since her parents abuse her, her classmates bully her, idk if that man sexually harassing her(the black haired with the glasses(?) And she can't voice out her thoughts because no one chose her side except the stalker. The stalker did nothing wrong with her I mean yes he did stalk her, took pics of her and yes I think it is creepy but he did not rape her nor kill her or torture her. Please I hope this is a happy ending because she really can't find reasons to live with all those hypocrite people
