I love your message at the end of the video encouraging folks to give guitar building, adjusting, modifying a try. I remember when I thought I'd never be able to do anything like that as well but I have since sold off all my big brand name guitars except for one Les Paul that I have that I really love and it was a gift from my wife! Everything I now have are my own creations or modified guitars and I enjoy them better than the big brand name stuff I had and I have way less money into them as well! There is a great sense of satisfaction when you create something that you love and it turns out awesome! Now speaking of awesome, the Bald Shredder is awesome! Keep up the great work! :-)
I love the finish of the paint job, the color the pendants and especially the shape of the headstock and that the color matches, don't change a thing, its gorgeous, and it sounds great!
I bought my first kit that should arrive today. It's a Leo jaymz Tele kit. Excited to get at it. I really like the color of your guitar and the pendants on it.
Cool! Some of these longer guitar journeys mean the most. I started learning about setups and guitar modding less than a year ago. Now, I'm doing very basic setups for people in my area, and making a little cash on the side. I've been privileged to see and play some amazing guitars that I never would have otherwise. Cheers, Richard!
Great Job on this Custom Partscaster! It gives me a very lite Steampunk vibe. I remember when you did the hammered finish before. I've done some statues with that and it's different in a very cool & visually pleasing way. The learning curve you described is spot on! The sense of accomplishment is such a good feeling. I bet it releases those 'feel good' chemicals into the brain. To summize: Your creation looks great, sounds great and it's got Shredder attitude! 🐉🎶🎸🎶🎸🐉🎶🎸🎶🎸🐉🎶
I think it’s awesome that you painted and built the whole guitar from scratch. Well you put it all together by yourself and that’s including the wiring & soldering as well. Great job Baldinie!! I’m impressed with that guitar and I love the reverse headstock🤘🏻! From now on I’m calling you The Great Baldinie, but I don’t want you to feel offended if that’s the case.? Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your new Axe bro. I think it’s just awesome-minus the sticker’s. And until next time…. Stay safe, Stay metal, and don’t forget to Riff.?!🔥🎸😎🥂💯👍🏻🤘🏻👊🏻⭐️
I actually think it would look good with just the YinYang without the other pieces. Sounded great, though, and I kinda like the uneven finish with some smooth and some roughed. Man, that's a journey, though. 🤣 And again, Hardtail4life and hot rails. You had me hooked at just those.
I find when painting with hammered the trick is to paint it in the sun. You spray it and it will bubble up, the trick is to control how much it bubbles by the density you're spraying and direct hot sunlight to set the texture. Start at one end and don't go over it again until next coat in about 45 mins. Corrections can be made in the follow up coats and three will do it. Let the paint set in the shade between and final coats. Also if done right this paint is very hard finish and durable! Nice guitar not to late for a recoat!
I've done a couple of guitar kits. I suck at painting but my jazzmaster came out OK. I had some extra money from a trade I did for a new guitar, so I put that money into a 60-dollar strat body and a 60-dollar Wenge Neck and Used some spare parts I had laying around and ordered a good but budget gold trem and affordable gold locking tuners. I was all in at about 150 bucks when it was all said and done. It was an experience as the neck pocket was way too big for the neck. I did some research and decided to use some birch wood laminate and darkened the edges, so it sort of matches the neck and used it on both sides of the pocket and it fit the neck perfectly. I did some fret work on it and it has become a really nice strat. I do plan on upgrading to some fender pickups eventually. The ones I have in it now are a little too trebly for my taste. Looking for something warmer sounding. I used all alpha full-size pots and a fender 5-way switch so the electronics are top notch. It is a good, looking guitar though. I love that I created it.
It's an awesome feeling when you build your own guitar and customize it to your liking. I just finished my strat kit from Fesley and it came out awesome , I upgraded everything also and painted it black along with the headstock and put my signature on it with a pearl pickguard and all black hardware. It came out sweet 👍✌️
Reverse headstocks are very useful for people that happen to have their shoulders below the hip, so they can reach out easily and tune the guitar during live performance.
I think that the guitar looks great especially the way that you have filled in the cavities. I think that the buttons add character and indicate the uniqueness of the guitar. I have done a lot of guitar mods and builds. Each time I do a project, I learn something new or it presents a problem that I have to solve.
I dont mind stickers, especially when there are loads of them all on top of each other. Like happens if you just stick a new sticker on all the time when ya get now ones and run outta room but keep adding them.
that's that guitar id pick up and be sold!tone is crisp and I love reverse headstock guitars🤘🏻 that their geetar is a shred machine no matter how cheap or where it's origin is,at the end of the day it's all down to the player and that puppy looks like a nice workhorse for the job👍🏻I'm sold on the hardware alone with the double coil single coil looking neck pup😎💯 thanks for the share bald man🤘🏻😎🎶🎸
Cool, Never know unless you give it ago is a good moto to have and the stories are interesting. The cheap number plates on Temu make great looking pick guards/scratch plates and they are really cheap. As far as buying any guitar from Ali Express, for me, never again to say the least. Past experiences encouraged me to make my own, which I believe is a much better experience in the long run.
Dude, I didn't know you built your own Partscasters and worked on them like that! I've been playing for over 40 years, and I've just got halfway comfortable with doing my own setups. I've been wanting to mod my guitars, but I am not mechanically inclined at all lol. You've given me inspiration though! Thank you! Edit: I was typing super fast and misspelled some words.
The derlin picks I use have the beveled edges. Unfortunately the place where I order the Bald Shredder picks doesn't have that, so they are just regular picks.
Yup I bought a few t-shirts from them just to test the waters. one never showed up. Last place it scanned was California. They denied me a refund or replacement. That was a $10 shirt. What if that had been a 2 or 3 hundred dollar item. Lesson learned and I won't deal with them again. Funny thing was 8 months later it showed up in my mailbox out of the blue. Still, I'd not do business with them again.
Well probably because it’s more affordable and sometimes it’s totally worth it. Is that a good enough answer for you. I’ve gotten really great guitar products from Ali-Express and pedals as well👊🏻!! Don’t knock it until you try it mate! Until next time…. Stay safe, Stay metal, and don’t forget to Riff.?!🤘🏻😎👊🏻💯🔥

Yep, I love my own custom builds.
Hellyeah shredder 🤘 Great message at the end ♥️
Definitely in the cool department. Home run my Brother.
Thanks
I love that look! I think it is unique in a good way.
It sounds great. I think it would have looked alright if it just had the ying and yang pendant.
Cool!what a n ice job.
very classic with a modern twist. keep building. try some unusual guitar body shapes. challenge yuorself.
You did an awesome job!! It looks sweet!!!🎸🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻🎸

Good luck with your kit
Yep! Sounds like my studio! I'm always changing this or that on my guitars! Thanks Shreddermister 🤘

Great video man. The diy kits are a great place to start this. The Leo Jaymz ones are nice

Hardtails or go home!
Same here. I'm not into stickers on a guitar, except for my first guitar, such still has the stickers I put on it in high school. Nice job! I like it.
Its cool and different. It has that oriental mental symmetry vibe with the buttons.
I think the guitar looks really cool, and it is truly a one of a kind guitar... awesome!
I think so too!

Other than the stickers it came out pretty badass and sounds good 👍🤘
That's a crazy guitar dude!

I got a strat for free and I am building it been working on it since summer but I have learned a lot of things from it
I learn something new every time.

I think it's cool. A kill switch button in place of the yin and yang would be even cooler.
sweet one brotha!
hey i think metal dude is drooling over this one hahaha!!
I think its a sweet looking guitar, I do that stuff also. Its Fun! Yes that was a silly place to put the volume pot from the factory. Keep Rockin Bro
Your orange camo # 2 is also a fan favorite. I notice everyone always asks about it when they see it for the first time! 🟧

"Now you know!"
And knowing is half the battle.
Thanks G.I. Joe!
You just haven’t found the right stickers yet lol. I love putting on stickers and clear coating over it all.
Maybe you're right!
Swap the neck for a 24 fret neck instead!
Then I'd have to move the pickup and bridge and redo the entire guitar.
Personally I think it looks cool ..
👍🏻😎🎸

I love project guitars. It's fun. Under $200 and it plays how you want it to. What more do you need?

Oh my god I just wanted to see the video, now i'm actually questioning if I just should make a build and stop being on the watch zone
@@diegolatorre6793 do it!
Mr. shredder, your guitar is like an ugly Christmas sweater with an mohair sound! Keep rocking
I love a good ugly sweater
Orange peel spray paint!!!
Reminds me a lot of the LTD M series.
I’ve noticed you really favor the Delrin 500 picks. Is that what your signature picks are based on?

Why on earth did you fill in the heel relief? That's what shorter screws are for.

Why do you even entertain the idea of buying anything from Aliexpress
