Well, then you don't know videogames very well. Smash even implemented original (sometimes a bit remixed) Soundtracks and voices for example from toon link.
The thing I like about greninja is that he hadn’t even appeared in a game by the time he was being developed for smash. He was developed at the same time for smash as his first game and didn’t have any moves so Sakurai gave him some he made up, hence why he has a bunch of unique moves in the Pokémon games.
Roy and Corrin are in a similar boat, except Corrin’s game was already out in Japan, while Roy’s wasn’t out yet anywhere, meaning he technically first appeared in Melee.

Wow, another fantastic compilation. I have to say, out the origins, Dark Samus is by far the most compelling to me. She's technically the dark counterpart to Samus, but It's logically so. Metroid Prime made herself a humanoid body by consuming the Phazon suit as well as a greater sense of sentience. I'm so glad you included the MP2 final duel two. That was one of the most badbutt moments in Metroid history. Oh, the other origins are cool too, I guess.

This is awesome! It's kind of cool seeing how many characters there are, where they all came from, and some of them brings me back to the days where they had their ground floor and, for a few of them, where I played the first (or only, in some cases) games they were in. One thing I'd recommend if you ever do another of these: Might be cool if you would put the name of the first game they appeared in. Some of these I wasn't (and still am not) sure of the names of. Would also be cool to see the first scene you're ever introduced to them (like for Pokemon Trainer, when you start in his room in Pallet Town). Oh, and you might note if they were "seen before, first mentioned in X". For example, Daisy was the damsel that Donkey Kong captured, I think. But she was first given her name in Mario Land 1 for the Game Boy. So she was Mario's girlfriend as far back as the early 1980s. :) (Which makes that whole game theory about Luigi ending up with Peach not so bad since Mario already had his girlfriend to live happily ever after with...)

Wow, another fantastic compilation. I have to say, out the origins, Dark Samus is by far the most compelling to me. She's technically the dark counterpart to Samus, but It's logically so. Metroid Prime made herself a humanoid body by consuming the Phazon suit as well as a greater sense of sentience. I'm so glad you included the MP2 final duel two. That was one of the most badbutt moments in Metroid history.

The Smash Direct just came out on the 8th, and there's more to come. Also, your argument makes no sense in relation to what I originally posted.

This is awesome! It's kind of cool seeing how many characters there are, where they all came from, and some of them brings me back to the days where they had their ground floor and, for a few of them, where I played the first (or only, in some cases) games they were in.
One thing I'd recommend if you ever do another of these: Might be cool if you would put the name of the first game they appeared in. Some of these I wasn't (and still am not) sure of the names of. Would also be cool to see the first scene you're ever introduced to them (like for Pokemon Trainer, when you start in his room in Pallet Town).
Oh, and you might note if they were "seen before, first mentioned in X". For example, Daisy was the damsel that Donkey Kong captured, I think. But she was first given her name in Mario Land 1 for the Game Boy. So she was Mario's girlfriend as far back as the early 1980s. :) (Which makes that whole game theory about Luigi ending up with Peach not so bad since Mario already had his girlfriend to live happily ever after with...)

Crazy to think we have 70+ fighters, with most of the Nintendo ones being from each Nintendo console (excluding only the Color TV game, Virtual Boy, and Switch of course).
A Switch-debuting fighter would have required an original Switch IP, yeah?
Though, I do hope the Color TV assist returns as well. :3
