Hi, how's USPS treating you so far?
@@MarieAdventure what's your opinion .. UPS vs USPS tractor trailer job. What's the pros and cons for both
Are the trucks for TTO manual or automatic?
Hey Marie, are you driving now? Best wishes
Hi Susan, Im just showing what USPS truck drivers do 😀
im thinking about applying i work for MBTA boston Bus Driver at 41hr roughly around 90k a year i hate it looking for something more laid back is this job offer plenty of O.T also what's the cap for hr wage?
This job is not laid back, it's too much pressure.
Nice video!! waiting for my orientation!!!
Congratulations 🎊🎈
If you are a new USPS Truck trailer operator this is an important reminder when you deliver and pick up packages from the distribution center & processing plant.
Thanks, Marie.
I have usps job already. But I have CDL I want apply for TTo
You can apply
As a T.T.O do you go over the road? Is it drop and hook? Or do you touch freight?
I'm not a TTO, I used to work in the dock area.
Your videos are awesome! What would I type in the search bar for positions of tractor trailer driver?
Tractor Trailer Operator
Which post has good per hour ? And has future promotions?
TTO makes good. USPS is unionized so promotion is by seniority.
Hey so I got hired in another state for mvo. I’m concerned because I don’t know the area but will I be delivering strictly to other post offices or any businesses?
You will shadow someone who knows the route.
@@MarieAdventure great I was considering not taking the job because I wouldn’t be efficient to a new city but that helps soo much. For some reason I thought you would be a vacation relief or extra board type deal
Kumusta I’m excited to become a tto driver I’m still waiting patiently I filled out the application last 11/9/22 then took assessment test my status is still in process hopefully I’ll get this job thanks for the video.
Hang in there.
I was just hired and they’re telling us in orientation we have to take a driving test we get one try to pass and if we don’t we’re automatically fired ? Is that everyone’s experience ?
So, what happen? U did the test?
So, whAt happen?
ill like to know what happened too lol
Yeah, what happened?
Hi , I’m looking into a transfer, been a carrier 18 years , I hear I have to be a ptf and it 90 days is that right after 90 I’m a regular?
if they offer it to you
🤦🏽♂️ so it’s no isn’t true …
Are the supervisors that bad? I hear crazy stories how they treat the employees
It depends on the person.
That's why you have to join the union when you come on .....union keep supervisors in check
Now I have "some" idea, thanks!
Glad I could help!
Hi was hired as a MVO, do you know what the top pay is and how long it takes to get to MVO?
Congratulations! I don't know how long.
It usually takes 10 years or more to reach top pay.
These jobs arent posted on the Ups website...
They post it when there's a hiring.
@@brandonholloman4746
You wrote Ups United PARCEL services
This video is for USPS United states postal services they deliver the mail
Hi Marie I was lucky to come across your channel while looking for information regarding TTO orientation, training and what they actually do. I'll be starting on the 30th for TTO. I'm curious what the difference an MVO driver and TTO driver is. Also do you know how many hours newly hired TTO's usually get a week? I'll be in Orange County. Thanks.
It all depends on the need of manpower.
Omg people don’t know how to answer questions, tto usually do short trips to other mail plants
Mvo is a box truck they mostly go office to office
Ptf usually get 40 , summer a lot if vacation so you’ll get ot , after thanksgiving it’s prime so you’ll get time as well, rest of year u got people out sick hurt vacations as well so basically you’ll be on 40
Do you know anything about PVO position?
Hi Maria , I am new MVO driver next month i start training . How many hours MVO getting ?
Depends. Are you driving interstate or local?
@@MarieAdventure I think it’s local. From plant to stations in the city
Also are all trucks with automatic transmission ?i don’t know how to drive stick shift
@@bojan80 yes all trucks are automatic
@@bojan80 what city you will be in?
Hi I’m in riverside ca, how much is the pay and do you need experience?
Hey, I’m in riverside too. I just accepted a position at the San Bernardino plant. Pay starts at roughly $28 an hour. Two years of experience required, especially in a manual transmission.
@@charkswitlazers they don’t have automatic? How long was the hiring process?
@@thebfam6191 they have some automatics but are VERY stern on wanting drivers to have experience in a manual. They pressed that multiple times. Hiring process took a little over 2mo. Top pay after 10yrs is 39$ an hour
@@charkswitlazers ok I’m barely starting my class b training. I guess learning manual transmission would be best!
thanks for your response to The B Fam, William!
I work for the post office already as a clerk, does the post office offer to pay for a person to get their CDL through them? If so how would I go about doing that?
I’m looking for that info as well, Im currently a cca.
I saw somewhere on the USPS website that there is a program for that. You could inquire with management. There's also generally a CDL program in every community college, which I would recommend over most schools. $30 an hour is pretty good pay, I got paid less than that in the oil fields.
Did you take the CDL?
