Jesus Christ told you that you are blessed when you are persecuted for His Name! And if you are at the limit of your strength, remember that a large community of Americans is already gathering in Russia, you have a shelter in case of emergency. Russia is a loving mother for those who sincerely love simple things and relationships, who are ready to love her and serve God and people. May Christ save you and your children from the propaganda of debauchery! Hold on! ☦️❤️🇷🇺
Man, being a convert in a predominantly non-orthodox country really is a great blessing, not only do you get to be a part of a more tightly knit community, you are also mostly free from the temptations of pride brought on by history and nationalistic sentiments that seep into the Church. It's like having a head start in humility. God Bless you all!
Thank you for this. The small town I live in, used to be full of Russians from the old Religion along time ago, don't know where they went. All that's left is an old Orthodox church converted to a Logging Museum and a handful of wooden houses in the Dacha style. But the only practicing Russians, along with practicing Greeks that I know of can be found North of Salem and Portland outskirts. But a couple hours drive south, there's a new Orthodox church under construction in Rogue River just north of Medford OR, it's quite a sight from the freeway. Odd, because that valley was settled mostly by the Catholic Basque.
I’m a Catholic who is seriously considering Orthodoxy. With the way things are headed in the Roman church, the Orthodox has a very strong advantage to evangelize. As someone who comes from a church that is very hierarchical and organized, the fact that orthodoxy seems to be so divided between ethnic patriarchs in the US is very off-putting. If the Orthodox in America would unite, so many more souls would be received into the Orthodox Church. God bless and please pray for me.☦️
Think of the ethnic churches as jurisdictions. Many in the ROCOR are not Russian, for example. Most Orthodox churches that I have been to have been very multi-ethnic. Some are still cliquish but for a long time in America there were the Catholic Churches that the Italians went to and the ones that the Irish went to. It’s not a unique problem. In my parish we recite the Our Father in the languages of all present. English, Russian, Greek and even Spanish. It’s joyous. Taste and see.
I am from Germany and feel very drawn to orthodox Christianity. I don't really know what to do about it because there is no orthodoxy in Germany. There are orthodox churches in my town but the services are all in Russian, Greek etc which I would not understand. I visited a protestant service a few months ago but that wasn't for me. Would anyone give me an advice what to do?
Visit the nearest German or English speaking orthodox church there is to you, meet with the priest and explain your situation, and ask him for advice on how to continue exploring the faith.

Thanks to the Russians, there has been Orthodoxy in the Americas since the eighteenth century; some churches in Alaska are at or nearing their four hundredth year. If you believe some of the tales of Irish monks, it is not unlikely that Orthodoxy was in Canada between the sixth and eighth centuries. Every state and every major city has at least one church now, radiating out into the countryside over time. It is here, everywhere, with homegrown saints and sanctified remains, monasteries and convents, and a presence in every corner if you look closely enough. It is fitting that the Orthodox churches are still strongly correlated to their immigrant communities, since Christ has been coming to the Americas for millennia.

First liturgy is on sunday. I haven't even gone yet but I know it's where I want to spend every Sunday for the rest of my life. I've felt every pleasure man can know, but nothing came close to the feeling that overcame me in solitude when I surrendered my internal war against christ. And it's so much more than any love bombing feeling I've felt in protestant churches. And all in complete solitude.
Orthodoxy is the future, for American men! Orthodox for life!! ☦️☦️☦️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Take me home, country road.
Christ bless you, literally brought a tear to my eye
Thank you. 🙏☦️

Hopefully we will get an Australian orthodoxy video
Thankyou for this OMS. Brought a tear to my eyes.
Lord have mercy for I have deviated from your ways.
Sure enough I see people I know and places we’ve been! Ah the beauty of Orthodoxy in America. It’s a small but all encompassing world! Dive in! Go to seminary! Move near a monastery! Make the church calendar your calendar! Name your children after saints! Glory to God for all things. We left the city and moved to be near a monastery, land and a cabin nearby.Full immersion. No looking back. We have our Orthodox village with others doing the same life swap. Whoever needs inspiration to do this here it is! Elder Ephraims monastery’s especially are a beacon in the states.
Greeting from Poland! ☦️♥️🙂
im confused on what religion to follow, but i had a dream recently with jesus in it. he told me he loved me, and to follow him. i want to become orthodox, but im only 15.
When you feel the time is right we'll love to have you in our family :)
If you're confused about anything, ask me if you want and I'll see if I can help...

Hello from the rolling plains of Ohio, USA
@@hailarwotanaz5848Blessed is our God, the glorified Lord in the Trinity!
Dear Orthodox Christians of the West, USA and Canada! Rejoice, for you are now testifying to the Truth where the devil is walking around, looking for his victims in the most vulnerable people, among children and youth.
Oh how I would love to see America embracing orthodox.
The salvation of the West is in the East. In Christ's true church. I thank God for Orthodoxy. Glory to God ☦️
Baptized 12/31/23 ☦️
Thank you for this. The small town I live in, used to be full of Russians from the old Religion along time ago, don't know where they went. All that's left is an old Orthodox church converted to a Logging Museum and a handful of wooden houses in the Dacha style.
But the only practicing Russians, along with practicing Greeks that I know of can be found North of Salem and Portland outskirts.
But a couple hours drive south, there's a new Orthodox church under construction in Rogue River just north of Medford OR, it's quite a sight from the freeway. Odd, because that valley was settled mostly by the Catholic Basque.
Imagine orthodox churches on top of our rolling hills and mountains overlooking the land
Beautiful video, can we get Romanian Orthodoxy next please?
Beautiful - and a little bit of John Denver was a nice touch

You are so lucky some of you to have met Saint Efraim of Arizona, God bless my orthodox brothers snd sisters and the world
I am from Germany and feel very drawn to orthodox Christianity.
@@harrygarris6921 thank you. There is ONE German orthodox monastery. I might contact them
@@keineangabe894 I hope all goes well!

As a Traditional Catholic and found myself drawn to the Orthodox faith, thanks be to God I am now on the Journey!
As cradle GO I find American Orthodoxy a huge Blessing! Christ is Born! Glorify Him!
Great shots, great vid. Always funny feeling to see Orthodox imagery with American sounds, but this "funny feeling" is something we need to break. America can be fully Orthodox. It can be fully Christian.
I tell my American friends all the time that Orthodoxy will save America, hello from serbia
I am so touched the way the church looks so beutiful and so the followers and the prists. This is realy what good for America. I am another Country Orthodox follower, and i am so happy Americans worship the Orthodox religion. Thanks to God./"Medhanelem-In Amharic"

Read the Life of our Father, St Herman of Alaska! And read also about St Innocent of Alaska & our Aleutian (Native Alaskan) Saints.
Like your video on Romanian Christianity, this was a very inspiring piece. Both showed cultural flavors absorbed into the universal aesthetics of the Orthodox Church. Very well done on both counts.
