North east Indian Nepali speaking people r Indian gorkha mostly migrated during British period in Assam just like madhesi of Nepal who speak same language with Bihar, up not Nepalese working in India. I have traveled the world. I was a Captain with Nepal Airlines for 2 years. There are no two countries in the world which are as as similar as Nepal and India in Culture! What an amazing stay I had in Kathmandu! Amazing people! Amazing food. My most memorable stay in my life has been in Nepal.

I have lived in Nepal for 10 yrs and i can say there is definitely anti Indian feeling. Previously before 2001it was less as in any other country but with coming of communist in power the anti Indian feeling was blown out for political gain resulting in ever growing anti Indian feeling among common Nepalese peoples. Nationalism is talk of the town in India so is in Nepal.

Yeah India and Nepal does have some of the differences regarding the boarder disputes and other issues ( Political interferences, unequal treaties...). But both India and Nepal also has the eexistence reality to maintain friendly and cordial relations as we have cultural similarities, geographic proximity and other various reasons.
So the only way to revive the realtions is that India should acknowledge the realities of sovereign equality and hold bilateral talks seriously with the objective to promptly resolve the unsettled issues.
And India should also cognize the fact that Nepal has the geographical realities to have balanced relations with both of its immediate neighbour India and China.

Yes; the treaty is unequal but in favour of Nepal. Please think if there is no such treaty then Nepal and Nepalis will be treated as any other country. Could you then survive if Nepalis are not allowed to enter India except on a visa which will be very difficult to obtain and no Nepali could work in India and there will be only one point of entry for the goods to Nepal under the international law. Please think of all the pros and cons before deciding on anything. It is clear that India can survive without Nepal and can Nepal do the same?

Indian informal workers are more in numbers and earning money from Nepal.. bro don't try to argue that Nepal has only got benefits from India. When you talk about transit service , International law has clearly stated that landlocked country has rights to get transit service it is not benevolence of India. In the contemporary context there is no any concept of inferiority and superiority so don't argue with flawed theory. And your comment oppose the importance of bilateral talks which is only the way to resolve the issues.
Don't try to show the superiority behavior which is hazardous for having the sound relations between two countries. Both india and Nepal has their reciprocity in their relations and both are equally important to each other.

In India Nepalis are treated more favorably than Indians themselves. They can work at any place and in any department except IAS,IPS and IFS. Technically any Nepali citizen can become a Chief of Army Staff.
No brother they can even apply UPSC exam but have to fight in general category. If they're selected as IFS they can't go as Indian Ambassador to Nepal. Other than that they can even apply in all central govt job also but if you see the present trend they hate Indians which is sad. In the heart of the town Modi govt had granted 40 lakh to rebuild or renovation of old Mandir where Nepali people go everytime when they go abroad to 'get the blessing from gaurdian dirty. What else u want from Modi govt ....
