Have you used Philip's Fidelio x2hr? I know they are open back but how do they compare in volume level and quality?

I use it for conference calls after adding a mic. X2hr is still superior in sound quality but it is a wired headphones, not really comparing apples to oranges. Check out the Fidelio L3 though, it is damn good when plugged in

I had a pair of Phillips H9505 headphones that I broke within one week. I got a replacement pair and have managed to make them last, but I'd recommend being careful when removing, as that's how I broke mine, by putting too much pressure on one of the pieces of plastic that meets the headphone when lifting it to relieve the pressure on my ear. That's another thing: they really hurt my ear after hours of wear.

i ordered the q30 based on price.. they arrive tomorrow. If for some reason I dislike them I'm returning them and getting the Ph805s. Did you end up getting one?

@@cassandracasas yess I finally got the q30, they work reaally well, the only thing I don't like is that the headband sits too far from the head, but it's just esthetic. Functionally they are great :)

I had h9505 for a half a year, the ear cushion (earpad) ripped and its unfixable... They returned money I payed for soo I am going for XM4
