This song has found me at the perfect time. I needed musical therapy through the roughest and weakest point of my relationship with the love of my life. Knowing I might lose him soon is the most painful thing I am preparing myself for. This song reaches out as medicine for the divine, suffering and loving soul. Thank you for this gift.
This song makes me yearn for all that I have lost... my father and best friend to tragic endings... my youth... my innocence... my wonder... but then it all comes back around - in different waves - in different faces - in a different time. I am not who I was. Those people, that innocence, that wonder made me who I am now - a husband, a father of two beautiful children. The real me is so far away, yet so close - right here - right now - forever more.
I can not match your lyrics, or you success in life. I am a lost one and in many ways an old buggar, but this song changed my life. One of the the top 3 songs of the past decade.
This is so beautiful. I hope wherever you are today, 2 years from this comment, that you are still learning about yourself and your babies. Dont ever stop dancing in this thing called life. Your comment really hit me in a good way. Bless you and yours.
Have just seen them live as Opener for London Grammar in Cologne. Fantastic beautiful Music and a Band with a huge Perspective, if they keep on going like this. Hope to hear more Songs of them in the near Future.
[Verse 1] Crosses in the distance, bells ring fast Loveless in our shelter, time will pass Would you take a chance on us? Could you take a chance on us? [Verse 2] Call out to the lonely with regrets Loveless is your answer, time will pass Couldn’t take a chance on us Couldn’t take a chance on us [Chorus] Take my hand In belief we trace our steps Understand No relief in silhouettes [Bridge] Battled myself so many times What I was, isn’t what I want now We can seek denial and search for miles Blessed love, the love I need Rolling drums, the loveless bleed Blessed love, the love I need Rolling drums, the loveless bleed [Chorus] Take my hand In belief we trace our steps Understand No relief in silhouettes
Just discovered Lo Moon this weekend when they opened up for The War on Drugs. Lovely venue listening to Lo Moon's chill vibe while taking in the sunset at an apple orchard in Central (upstate) New York. I'm dating myself here, but the tone of Lo Moon's vocal is reminiscent of Mark Hollis (Talk Talk) on their Spirt of Eden record (1988) and/or Catherine Wheel on their Ferment record (1992)
This sound is a perfect crossing of The XX and Phil Collins. Is it a coincidence that all three are British? I think not. The guitarist for Lo Moon is Samuel Stewart, the son of Dave Stewart, guitarist and multi-instrumentalists of The Eurythmics. We invented pop music and rock 'n roll in the United States, but the British have always perfected it. That makes me hate them and love them at the same time. Keep up the good work across the pond, most American music has become worthless.
So disappointed 😞 our concert to LoMoon was changed and we can't make it to the new date. Please come to Montana Missoula. We would love that. Phyllis Gambardella
This song actually moved me, emotionally in a way a song has never done before, thank you.
this song makes me feel nostalgic but for something I've never experienced

[Verse 1]
Crosses in the distance, bells ring fast
Loveless in our shelter, time will pass
Would you take a chance on us?
Could you take a chance on us?
[Verse 2]
Call out to the lonely with regrets
Loveless is your answer, time will pass
Couldn’t take a chance on us
Couldn’t take a chance on us
[Chorus]
Take my hand
In belief we trace our steps
Understand
No relief in silhouettes
[Bridge]
Battled myself so many times
What I was, isn’t what I want now
We can seek denial and search for miles
Blessed love, the love I need
Rolling drums, the loveless bleed
Blessed love, the love I need
Rolling drums, the loveless bleed
[Chorus]
Take my hand
In belief we trace our steps
Understand
No relief in silhouettes
