Quality was already really good and this year is even better. Live disc golf is just so much better. I feel like I actually get a sense of the full field and what’s going on with everyone. I love post produced too, but it serves a specific purpose. There’s a reason why every major sport are live events.
@@captainbornfree bro other sports have budgets in the tens if not hundreds of millions. DGN is able to have crisp video all over the country and make a product that is engaging and exciting to watch. Nobody is saying it’s as good as ESPN. They wouldn’t say that. But for the kind of budget they have and the niche sport that disc golf still is, just having consistent live coverage for so many events is fantastic. And it’s the future.
@@420bloodlust420 lollllll I freaking wish. I just genuinely enjoy the broadcasts and think that if disc golf wants to continue to grow then investing in live coverage is the way to go.
I watched this live today on DGN. and I loved the coverage. This is my first season subscribed to DGN and i got it half price with my pdga membership. great deal. Also I have a new schedule with Sundays off, So I will always be home for Final round coverage. This is perfect for me and I am excited for the rest of the season. Thank you DGPT!
I pay for the subscription but it is still not possible to watch the whole thing after it ended. And pause and go back during the live event doesn't work either. That sucks so hard that i will unsubscribe
Its like i get if its not immediately available "thought it should be" but its been like 3-4 hours now and no one is gonna be able to watch it before next round. Its kinda ridiculous.
Too close to call. His right toe is touching ground when disc is moving toward basket, and his left arm is in way to tell exact time of release. I'd say no foot fault.
Did you watch Jomez’s live event for worlds? DGN live coverage is miles beyond their capabilities. I love Jomez. I watch all the practice rounds and they’re obviously the go to post produced channel. But live is a different thing. Well worth the subscription
@@blakewest5162 Well, I’d rather see 2-3 minutes of quality highlight reel instead of watching someone park an approach from 150 feet. And at that rate they shouldn’t just have 1 crew lugging gear around for 18 holes. Have 3-4 teams set up on holes that they know are attackable and let the players show out
Gotta spend money to make money. If their streaming service and filming are subpar, then fans like myself aren’t going to want to pay for a subscription which costs them money. And I’m definitely not alone there
@@darianhanson7067 have you watched a stream? I didn’t get into it until last year but there’s nothing like watching it live. Seeing McGoat sink that putt on 17 at worlds as it was happening was unreal.

Had a feeling Eagle would shred today after tilting a bit mid-late round yesterday.
well it´s eagle
It was a weird one seeing him and Simon on the same card. I wonder if it got to him a little bit.

Always nice to hear Philo on the coverage :)
Glad to see Jones, Eagle, and Simon killin it. and AB

O ya!
Since he came back Simon has been playing very good
Why is round 3 FPO not streaming on DGN for the Roku?
AB was cooking

Eagles -12 apparently didn’t include any highlight worthy shots🙄 yet Simon shot like -6 was half the highlights🤔
I mean over half the highlights from yesterday were from Eagle and he didn't even throw a -6
Different course and he crushed the first 12 holes. Also he threw 600ft every other shot😜
It’s because of where the cameras are. The benefits of the lead card.

You show 10 puts from simon who ends on a -12 and 0 shots from eagle who shot a -10 round. Okay.
They didn’t have coverage on him cuz his score was too low yesterday so his card went out earlier, people seem to not understand that
