I just bought one. Holy sh*t!!! The sound this thing makes is incredible. I’m coming from a BMW X3 and I would say this suv definitely has more character. In dynamic sport mode the way the engine spits and hisses and rips like a chainsaw… Best $$$ I ever spent on a car. 👍🏾!
The cabins looks far more modern now, with that curved touchscreen! And of course ,God bless Jaguar for that lovely supercharged V8 and it's sound! Doesn't sound as good as the 2018 F type SVR; it doesn't have the pop pop popop pop pop , but we can thank the PPE for that...

@@solerzyoutube High powered Turbo engines often don't sound that great. Like you said the turbo s is literally a vacuum and McLarens are loud but the tone isn't very "musical" like this one or the LC500.

@@paulj9821 I love it. I am not in some high position where I’m getting jaguars and range rovers, and I can’t exactly afford them either, so I’m open to other car brands. Got a Ford right now. My neighbour got an Alfa as well and I like them in general. Although it’s better in the US, as the front license plate ruins the symmetry of it in the UK :(
@@PSUC3 Oh it does the same here in Canada, the front plate looks awful. I know people that remove the plate even though it's illegal. In the us, certain states you are not required to have a front plate.
Being a buyer in the market for this kind of car would be a great place to be. Like a kid in a candy store you're literally spoiled for choices. I'd be happy with any of these picks: SVR (F-Pace or Range Rover Sport), X5/3M, GLE/C63, Stelvio QF, Cayenne/Macan Turbo, SQ7 even if it's 'down' on power.
Some people in these comments are hating on the sound. As an F Type SVR owner, I will say the audio on camera does NOT do this platform any justice. Reserve judgement until you hear it in person. The microphone picks up this flappy flatulence sound, but when you hear it in person, it has more character and depth to it & you instantly realize why these guys love the sound.
I've done 7,000 miles with mine (purchased about 6 months ago) and the lane keep/centering works just fine now, no bouncing between lanes at all. The only slight issue it sometimes has is wanting to pull off an exit if you're sitting in the entry/exit lane.
It's straight up just how the cars sound. If some cars sound bad with just "air", the manufacturer prioritized quietness and the mufflers are doing their job muffling. This car sounds great when recorded because it sounds great in real life
Love the sound but I would miss the original pops, burbles and bangs from the older SVR! Still, Iwould choose this V8 over all the other SUVs! :) (I have a 2017 Range Rover Sport Autobiography with the 5.0 V8) Great review as usual guys!!!! 👍😁🇨🇦
I never thought I'd be saying this, but the call for electrification in the auto industry was the best thing that ever happened for gas engines since the V12. Swan song it may be, but look at the engines we're getting!!
I feel the f pace svr compares better to the glc 63s and x3m competition not so much the gle and x5 due to size,hp and price. Great review as always though!
Maybe it's just me, but I prefer a V8 sound that isn't so "farty" or maybe "raspy"..? Not sure how to describe it. I like the cleaner sounds of something like the GT500
If you want a really amazing exhaust sound you should listen to a Range Rover Sport SVR with the Quicksilver exhaust! We’ve owned the 2022 Ultimate Edition in Maya Blue since August of 2022 and had the exhaust changed the following month. You can almost literally wake up the dead with that thing! Funny thing is that we just put a deposit down on a 2023 Eiger Grey F-Pace SVR a few days ago after our 2019 Fiat 500 Abarth was involved in an accident (which btw wasn’t our fault). It’s either being repaired or totaled. Whatever happens, it’s either being traded in or the proceeds from it being totaled are going towards the F-Pace. Since we thoroughly enjoyed our experiences in the Range Rover Sport SVR, it only made sense to get the F-Pace SVR afterwards! Luckily at this time, we’re paying MSRP instead of $10k over MSRP like we did for the Rover! Love your channel and your content! Keep it up!
Great point. I test drove a Macan and an F-Pace and it was no contest. Drove straight to the Porsche dealer and bought the Macan. There was no comparison.

It sounds much better when you disconnect the electrical connector from the exhaust valves 😉. I couldn’t live with how much quieter my new SVR was compared to my 2020 SVR with the new noise attenuation software forcing the valves closed even in loud mode at most rpm. 5 minute fix and it has its soul back :) Including alllll the cracks and pops off throttle. It’s also incredible on track if you order the performance tire option. Negligible body roll compared to the 2020 and immensely more turn-in and mid-corner grip.

I'm sorry but my heart is already stolen by the Trackhawk. That supercharger with the American V8 is just godly. The looks also are better in my opinion. Only if it had the same infotainment as the Jaguar, it would be the perfect car. Right now, it still is an awesome vehicle and the best of the ones you compared it to. Nice video by the way!
The Jag - all the way. The interior tips it for me, in addition to all its other great qualities. The Maserati's infotainment is ancient and the Jeep's would feel cheap by comparison.
Wrong the FCA lineup now has better interior and a better Infotainment system than JAG. You are right, from 2017-2020 FCA's interior was getting old and the infotainment system was looking old as well.

Curious on how they even got the crackles and that exhaust sound being street legal emissions exhaust? Any street setup I know are running a tune with CAT deletes just to get that sound or with non compliant HFC's!
@MatE2010 I agree as a Stelvio QV owner, but then after watching the video they talked about how the handling was sketchy in the Jag, I see why it’s not a competitor. The QV handles like a go cart.

I rented a 2018 f pace svr for a weekend and i was ripping every stoplight and on ramps. Absolute monster. I got 15 mpg 😂😂

My mom got a red SVR in 2021 and it is hands down the best value for your money, especially when you hear that jaguar roaring.

I bought an F Pace SVR. If you pull the active exhaust fuse when the baffles are OPEN, they stay open and the car crackle and pops even under 2k RPM.
The Jaguar doesn’t sound half bad either they’re on the come up for sure
