- Hello. Are you taking part in the walk 1000 miles in one year challenge? If so, you can check in here and let us know how you are getting on. After six months we should be at the 500 mark. I have to confess I am a little bit behind. I have a lot of catching up to do over the next six months.

Still doing daily walks . No more than 2.5 miles per day . Feel tired these days from heat AND my age (72)-I like your hair style ! Suits you . Youthful -looking.
Politics here in US , not a pretty picture, can’t say too much about it here. Sounds like you are having issues across the pond as well.

I have to agree llona ....I cannot wait to vote on Thursday. And I do wonder what will happen if a certain party doesn't actually get in 😊...I know I'm dreaming but never say never 😊..

Same for politics in the USA! Absolutely looney toons. I used to look up to candidates, volunteer, make phone calls, etc. So you are not alone in your feelings!

Shirley here from Sierra Vista Az...my total through the end of June was 630.14. I walk every morning starting a little after 5am for the last 2 months,,,gets really hot after 10 am!!

Hello Ilona. Nice to see you again. I have not walked as much as planned either, for different reasons ; my work, the bad weather which makes the forest so damp, and also unfortunately i was à bit ignored at one point by some members of my walking group so the whole motivation was somehow broken. I am trying to get over it but it takes time, and i anyway would rather walk alone. Anyway, always a pleasure to see you, you re so inspiring to me 😊
I sometimes dabble with group walking, but always bring up the rear so I can stop and take photo's.

Been out walking everyday i did an 8 and a half mile walk round carsington waters last sunday which was really nice, I'm still pondering wether to vote i think it's all going to get a bit crazy i mean why have we got all these elections nearly everywhere arond the world at the same time , definitely living in crazy times .
I feel it is important to vote, even if you scrawl across the paper, 'none of the above'.

And as for politics we are having à major crisis here in France. But this is so big that it s difficult to feel useful , so i do my bit and i try to live my life not too much thinking of it afterwards. This trend has been launched so hard and it will be difficult to stop.
