People don't realize how UNDERRATED signing Shaun was for the Warriors especially after having a good season with the Nets prior. His ability to guard multiple positions due to his size/ length & not being turnover prone was huge for them when they won in '14-15. Oh and his consistent mid range game. Not his 3pt shot because he didnt have one. His MID RANGE on a 3 point shooting team. CRAZY.

Livingston running the floor for the Warriors was the definition of a player who "flashed" through the lane. And his dunks were always strangely breathtaking and underrated...the "Silent Smooth Posterizer"... watch what he does to Blake Griffin in the video. He never celebrated the jams. A confident, economical executioner.
I'll miss anticipating that automatic basket whenever he switched into "sweet spot" manouvering mode. If he were featured on a team of lesser players, I'm sure he'd have had no trouble averaging 15-20 ppg.
His length created havoc in the Warriors scary fast-switching almost intuitive defensive mode.
And always, the epitome of Mr. Dependable when he was bringing the ball up the court-without turnovers-in crunch time.
On the court when it counted especially in crucial playoff games, he always had eyes for what was happening around him, he was right up there with Iggy and Draymond for court consciousness.
    A diamond in the rough.

he was actually one of the few people in the nba where his team allowed him to do postup isolations. you dont see the midrange post player like you did alot in the kobe-era, because the nba is being played so quickly nowadays and its all about the 3 pointer, motion offense, 1000x dribble handoffs per pos,and alot of snake pick and rolls. for him to keep his niche... to always keep his playstyle even tho the modern nba was changing.. he still maintained his post game. thats why i respect this guy for another reason.
