Thank you Joel. As a transplant recipient and I’m celebrating my 6 year anniversary. I wanted to thank you for getting me through the long nights in the hospital. You are beyond appreciated sir.
Congratulations on your 6 year anniversary! May your transplant remain healthy and give you a long and happy life! I myself am a kidney transplant recipient and I'll be coming up on my 26th anniversary in November! Take those meds religiously! Stay healthy my friend! 💜💜💜
as a fellow survivor of that type of abuse and someone who was also adopted and had to go through a lot of therapy and other things like that I can relate to the story about Julie and my heart goes out to her and others like her may we all find the peace and love we deserve ❤
I keep hearing these stories, over and over again and I have no clue what to do. I seriously need advice from a victim's point of view. I want to end this evil and help people like you before it is too late, but I know I won't have much of an impact alone, so I am asking for advice on what to do. I am genuinely in a state of constant melancholy at this point. It's holding a firm grip on me and I must act fast. I know it might sound funny, that I am so concerned, but I've always been like this and no matter how much I try, I can't just forget and move on. I can't just watch these horrendous acts take place and do nothing. My question is: what can I realistically do? What are my options? What could've helped people like you before it was too late? I am sorry if the question is stupud, but I must find an answer soon, otherwise I'll seriously go insane. I am a bit low on emotional intelligence, so please forgive me if my comment is a little ridicilous. I have a hard time telling sometimes.
I especially found the story about the adopted sister to be very disturbing. It's a reminder that even those closest to us can harbor dark secrets. Thanks for sharing these stories, and thanks to the Reddit users for sharing their experiences.
The adopted sister story almost made me cry. And I never tear up over these. Wow, that was really touching and I’m glad they have such a strong relationship
Uncle Pat is the real deal & that’s a real man who protects his flock- personally I might’ve noticed some accidentally on purpose tripping falling & broken limbs in that same situation.
I work overnights at a hospital, so I see some pretty crazy stuff. These videos are great to listen to on my way to work and from work. Thank you for the awesome content Joel!

Perfect timing for my nightly farm work/chores! (Although, sometimes I DO get real creeped out, outside....on a farm..... in the middle of no where at night 😬) Thank youuuu!!!
@roadkill3881 not the middle of the night, but into the evenings, with lights on the tractor or combine. Gotta get the crops planted & harvested during the small window of time the weather gives us.
@@roserose1526I feel a lot safer out here in the middle of nowhere than I do downtown, with all those people. Out here, you're more likely to be attacked by an animal, and animals are pretty predictable.
It’s 4am here in Australia. Gday all, it’s time to let Joel’s nice voice send me to sleep. Proud to be a part of this community, hope you’re all doing well.
It's a day later here in Wales, UK at 7ish in the evening. I too love Joel's soothing voice. I can imagine it's daytime over in Oz though it's dark here now. Sending hugs to you 🫂
Freya is a treasure! I don't really like scary movies (I used to get scared of the commercials for the movies when they'd come on TV,😂😅😊) ... but... Wes Craven's New Nightmare is cool for it's meta storyline and darker tone. Funnily enough, I did love Freddy's Nightmares, the TV series that ran Friday nights after SNL in 1988 &1989 on my local NBC affiliate. Robert Englund reprised his role as Freddy for the show and I just remember howling with laughter at it. I also loved Friday the 13th the TV series (unrelated to the film franchise,) pretty dated now but worth the watch; it was a great Canadian series.
The adoption story was so sad. Some people don't deserve to have children. The 2nd to last story, the man was being a pervert, report him to his manager. My favorite scary movies are: The Exorcist and Scream (1996).
•The story about the 17 year old living on the streets with their Mother on and off for many years really broke my heart! I am a Mother of three. I absolutely can’t imagine moving in with a boyfriend and allowing my 17 year old child to live on the streets by themselves, all alone, while I shacked up with some dude! I have a 17 year old right now and the thought of letting them be homeless while I had a roof over my head and a warm bed to sleep in, is outrageous and unthinkable!!! I pray that the person who told their story has been able to escape living on the streets and has had a chance to live a much better life! •The next to last story about the woman running on the treadmill at Planet Fitness is so ridiculous! The employee cleaning the treadmills while being at the right angle to look at her lower body, WAS NO ACCIDENT! I would make an educated guess that he has creeped on other women at that gym too. If he keeps getting away with his nasty behavior, he may take his little sick game further and end up hurting someone! Planet Fitness goes through employees faster than any other gym I’ve ever went to so I’m sure they would have no problem firing that pervert who was harassing her. If more than one person would complains, I’m sure he’d be fired immediately! If not, I would call Planet Fitness' corporate office (and NO, I am NOT a "Karen"!) to let them know about the voyeuristic employee at my Planet Fitness location! I never complain or ever act like I’m entitled but I would definitely report that employee’s nasty behavior! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and is staying happy and healthy! Freya, thanks for asking. My favorite scary movie is The Haunting of Hill House staring Julie Mills. It's not graphic and the scare comes from your own imagination not from gore.
Do you mean "The Haunting" with Julie Harris? It's based on the great novella by Shirley Jackson (The Haunting of Hill House), and was done in 1963. It's also one of my favorite scary movies, along with Alien, The Exorcist, and The Shining.

Hey Freya! To answer your question, its a hard choice. I wanna say the Halloween movies with Michael Meyers but they scare me so much I can't even watch. So I'll pick Jeepers Creepers, the first two movies. And maybe the Conjuring franchise. Those are all my go-to when I wanna get super scared but not have nightmares.

Joel reads me to sleep during the good nights, the bad nights, and everything in between. He’s gotten me through two deployments, all the flights I’ve been on, and he’s gotten me through every drive to work in the morning (and it hits the best when it’s chilly outside, I have the seat heater on low, and the front defroster on just enough to feel the tingle). I only wish the best things for Joel.

I would have thought waiting 1 year before going back to your favorite trail is not so hard to assume he would be gone.

Hey Freya, you done amazing when speaking on the video! Keep it up girl, you might be on youtube when you get bigger! My favourite scary movie is The Conjuring, you might be too little for that though, maybe one day! :D

About the PF guy--usually, when you feel like you're being watched, you're being watched. So, unless you feel like you're being watched all the time, you need to see if this happens again and, if it does, report him to management.
