I travelled from Melbourne to Tokyo in 2008 to experience the "Priest in the East" live at the Budokan - a boyhood dream. I love watching this 2005 show as it brings back those wonderful memories.
Hands down one of the greatest performance of Judas Priest !! Budoukan Tokyo Japan ... 🗾 Kicks arse audiences... And yeah... Super great quality performance.... 😅

Killer show ... they were pumped to be back together and laying down the Heavy Metal. Angel of Retribution is an excellent album with a throw back to the early Priest years vibe.

I'm a priest fan, they are my favorite band and to be honest I do not like Judas Priest live, Halford's voice changes a lot, sometimes he screams to reach high notes and sometimes his voice sounds like a cartoon character, but these ''Rising in the East'' concert I do like. The version of "beyond the realms of death'' in these concert is amazing. I think is their best live version ever.

I hate how since then they act like Angel of Retribution was a drunken mistake and they only perform Judas Rising. But I’m also glad because Richie and Sneap would butcher gems like Hellrider, Demonizer and Deal with the devil anyway…

Non innovative drum solo,so dull,sucked back then and still does
