Bought this because of this stream. Game's _real_ good and honestly legitimately terrifying at times, which you wouldn't think it would be given your access to high explosives, but no, some of the shit in this game will scare the hell out of you. Haven't tried the Campaign yet, but the STALKER-like free roam mode is awesome. Tam's video doesn't really bring it across, but you move _very_ fast in this game, and that urgency really sells how scary it is.
Bought this game halfway through the stream and it's been amazing. I entered The Pines at night and saw something real fucked and scary, and the ability to make custom notes is very handy.
Dude, I entered a key-code locked bunker behind a waterfall and saw some insane, SCP shit I can't explain. This game is wild. And that's not even including the eldritch abominations that you fight just in general.
Yep. All AI. You get the hang of how they work, but they're not particularly dumb. They flank you at every opportunity and have really good teamwork. There're enemies that Tam doesn't even show in this video that are legitimately fucked and will ruin your day instantly.
As nzzy says. Having played it myself, their AI is akin to Half-Life 2 combine/rebels but slightly less "dynamic". They flank, use cover, retreat to reload, but they are sluggish about it and overall seem to react to changes in your positioning slowly (with the exception of tracking you at higher difficulties). They have a bad habit of running right at you and (IIRC) don't shoot while moving, which was a bad gameplay decision in my opinion. However, they do seem to exhibit some cooperation in that they push in unison and generally stick together.
@@Toothless150 oh, yeah half life is easy as hell for me... i want REAL enemies... I guess we need to wait like 10 more years before AI develops to a point where it can stop being predictable.
I bought this game because, after watching the full VOD, I was just pissed off that Tamto was so bad at it. I literally had a moment of “holy shit this guy is actually bones at the game, I need to play it for redemption reasons.”
Having played the game, definitely not. They're legitimately terrifying, screaming abominations from some alternate dimension, and you regret being in their vicinity immediately. They are not at all funny and are actually horrifying.
"This could be a lot worse" man did he predict his own death
Perfectly cut scream

Slug inflation is ruining the slugconomy.
Don't say that in front of the chewing slug.
There's two ways and one is worse than the other.
@@T0mDaGuy “slug inflation” 😏
slugflation
3:42 One of my favorite sounds made by tomato himself.
7:26 Another one of my tomato created sounds.
21:09 Another one.
the third one is of legendary quality
The big baby face is Pit canon. You can often find Bakedbananas frolicking in the baby mouth.

Are the shiny red running and screaming people in the tunnels a reference to that one guy screaming sex?
