I’m sick to death of having to appeal to men by saying “think about if this was your mom, sister wife, daughter” there’s not a single instance in which you would have to ask a woman to consider how something affects other people because that is just expected of us. Why do they explicitly need to be told to care?

I think the point is that women should have the choice and at the moment they don’t. Also, there are plenty of men who trust women are doing what they need to do to not get pregnant and then they forget to take a pill or something like that and fall pregnant. Men should also have the option to protect themselves from falling into that situation
