I met Mark Zonder in mid ninties...Didn't even know who he was. Met him at a FW show...SUPER NICE, HUMBLE GUY!! Then when I saw him play I was like "Man I was just talking to that guy!! And I have NO idea what the hell he is doing but he is amazing!! Probably my favorite drummer since...

APOS is a brilliant recording, a true masterpiece and by far, Fate's best studio/live effort. Top notch musicians at work, no doubt.

I have loved these guys since i first heard them back in the No Exit days. Mark is a god among men. Ray is my favorite singer of all time, no matter how he is singing, from the crazy high notes of Anarchy Divine to Bleed me Dry with Redemption. Jim's playing and song writing is without compare and Joey is an animal!
Every stage FW has been through has been great. Thanks so much guys for all the awesome music, I can't wait for the next CD!

The Fates at their peak in this video. I'm a long time fan, since the Awaken the Guardian days, but I've never had the pleasure of seeing them live. I knew Zonder was one of the top drummers, but until I saw this video, I didn't realize he played in traditional grip. That elevates his class to me. Most rock and metal drummers play matched grip, but Zonder is the only Metal drummer I have ever seen do it. Neil Peart is the only Prog drummer besides Zonder that I am aware of using it.

I totally agree...his creativity is uncommon...IMHO he's the main reason for the evolution on this great band....the guitars were always this great, but the complexity of the drums patterns was missing...to really fits those riffs...Zonder's a genius!!

there's something weird about the whole APSOG live VHS. I think Ray re-recorded some vocals in post production. Its not in sync. Don't get me wrong, Ray is AWESOME. I saw them twice on this tour and also have some audio bootlegs. Ray was great. But something is weird.
