That engine actually is a product of Renault since they practically owned Nissan at the time. The current GT-R35 is the offspring of Carlos Ghosn who is the reason Nissan is in a good spot today thanks to him and Renault. So nah, that engine is where it belongs, smoking edgy, mad Germans with complexes.
