You absolutely do not want to block abby demons for xp, they are literally the best or at minimum top 3 once you understand how to dual barrage the two rooms in catacombs

Every Tzhaar task is a free skip if you swap it to Jad, enter the fight caves, and leave. It's really nice to have as a utility after using it to get your first fire cape
Agreed. One thing to note with this, if you get back to back Tzhaar tasks, there's a lockout for the fight caves. I think it's something like 15 minutes.
Abyssal demons are nuts XP with magic aoe in catacombs. A bit more intensive and annoying, but probably one of the best tasks if you are up to it, if not the best. Don't block it if you want the best xp
Definitely not better than nechs, IMO. They are more tedious but definitely worth it IMO. I always enjoy getting them as tasks and I’ve been 99 for a while but still do slayer .
Abyssal Demons are actually a really good XP if you smoke barrage them in katacomes. It's not hard to get down if you follow a guide on youtube, you basically splash on them and lure them into the middle of the two rooms and switch to bursting gear, surprisingly chill. Was getting 60k+ slayer/hour and I'm not an efficiency hound.
@@josh64big They can still teleport about when frozen, causing them to jump out of the pile and not move. If unfrozen they tend to migrate back into the central pile after teleporting. I've seen people ice burst / barrage but I think it's worth using smoke spells for convenience. Be sure to look up a guide on youtube because you have to be a little careful when splashing them not to get dragged out of the aggro range for the other room of abbys.
Ya i saw that vid, just tag w darts and ice burst its more xp, i have no idea why u would splash over darts. Abby demons are great xp if ya burst, although an annoying task that doesnt need to be more annoying, doable on mobile ez tho
This. Darts are fine.. you can ice barrage the first room in the tunnel and then go to the second room to tag the rest and bring all the tunnel.. and ice barrage is fine. I’ve seen 100k+ slayer xp with the splash method.. but more switches turns me off :)
I feel like the midgame melee gear is Proselyte, not Rune. Even farther into late Slayer, if you're trying to afk or save money and use protection Prayers, Proselyte is very good for that. Also, Elidinis' ward (f) would sit where Ely does on the Magic gear.
Melee gear could use improvements. Whip is generally better than hasta, with more str bonus. str bonus is also much more important than defense so d boots>guardian. and to top it off, str ammy should be better than even a fury if you're using black mask and piety.
I like adding explorer's ring 4 as the bis (or maybe as a switch). I'd change proselyte for monk though, even against magic level 1 you splash a little more with that much negative bonus. Especially smoke devils that have more significant mage defense roll. Most importantly using bracelets of slaughter is very significantly more slayer xp than 5% damage bonus from the zenyte bracelet.
5% more dps > 5 more kills; better to kill shorter amount at max efficiency and get a new task. or just switch it for the final hit if you really want to
Why not sub in Vorkath for a blue dragon task? Heck, I wish i could extend blue dragons just for that purpose. Swap void for slayer helm, armadyl top/bottom, and barrows. Good task.
Why no obsidian chest plate, for the str bonus? I honestly detest Barbarian Assault and would sooner wait to buy a BCP... but until then wouldnt it be better than DH platebod?
For the ranged ring slot ive always been using a god ring imbued. Since the archers ring has no ranged strength and its already the most accurate combat style i find the prayer bonus for longer rigour or eagle eye has been better for every task.
Other comments mentioned the black dragons block (since you can kill babies) and the blue dragons (one can kill vorkath if no tbow). I disagree on one more point. SPIRITUAL CREATURES are not a skip if one has access to the zarosian mages. Those are great money (1m+ per hour).
Can you do a video about short things that you can do in less then 15minutes in game? the gauntlet for example is the best thing, no need to bank, no need items - just login and get a kill or 2 in around 15minutes LMS is also nice, can do around 2-3games in around 15minutes But I'm out of more ideas..
Was this video made before the venerator bow released? I heard v bow against abby demons at kourend isn't bad. I know it's afk, but is it good exp? or is it still a block for xp?
I think using expeditious bracelet on tasks you wanna do fast is equal to a 25% damage increase (as in you have to do 25% less damage to complete the task). So its worth it to leave them on 100% if you dont wanna switch gloves for every kill. If you do switch its like 30% or so damage increase instead of 25%. Bracers of slaughter are different and Id only use them 100% of the time for barrage tasks. For bosses its worth to switch them in some times.

Something i thought about before. Wouldn't vestment robes be better for some bursting task? you're losing a small amount of prayer bonus for a moderate amount of magic attack. Even though most burst task are negligible to mage att bonus?
Anything you burst or barrage doesn’t have any magic attack defense. So the better prayer bonus and highest magic damage bonus is what you want. Magic attack bonus will do nothing for you on these tasks.
Yeah but with herb prices nowadays you make like 200k a task. You’d be better off doing something else to make more money, then just buying your herbs.
You can use it I suppose. The defense from barrows armor is better in my opinion. And once your get the fighter torso the obsidian plate is obsolete. Obsidian legs don’t give an additional max hit so kinda useless.

Vorkath is the obvious choice which is self explanatory. However, with the availability of the salve(ei) necklace, you can do Vorkath at any time with the best available bonus. You don't have to be on a slayer task to do Vorkath as the slayer helm isn't the best option here. I didn't feel it was worth mentioning for these reasons.

Surprised minions of scabaras is listed as a skip task for exp, seeing as its 50k slayer exp an hour. I think it was autumn elegy who did a video on them.
All I can say to people is make sure you're using dps calculators. Magic shortbow imbued with rune arrows is a LOT better dps than dragon crossbow with broad bolts. Crossbows are good for certain monsters (like dragons). And the difference in dps between the "useless" rune crossbows and dragon crossbows is very, very small, so the dragon crossbow is really only worth it if you need to fire bolts that the rune crossbow can't (or if you don't mind spending like 900k, dragon crossbow is pretty cheap). So yeah, just a reminder. Just use the dps calcs before committing to a setup.
the dps of a magic short bow(i) is relatively close to a blowpipe , tbh i use the magic short bow on some tasks to save money. Seriously can’t go wrong with the Magic Short bow (i) !
I literally just figured this out about an hour before finding your comment. I brought a magic shortbow (i) as a switch for it's special attack at nechryael when I was using a dragon crossbow for like 6 tasks in a row and I thought, "this is a lot faster".

reset with turael...everytime you get a stupid task(e.g steel dragon), if dont have enough points to skip, just reset the streak with turael until you have enough points to block tasks

@@troyrussell177 no don't skip with tureal unless you just don't have the gear to fight them. But extended antitpotions are cheap and Iban blast works well on them. I'd go the korand dungeon personally to fight them. But most of the time it's asking you to kill less than 15 shouldn't be an issue with mage or a crossbow with good bolts.
@@troyrussell177 skipping with tureal screws up your score streak you want to start getting your task streaks set up to be high numbers. I'm in the 200s with 83 slayer. You'll get a ton more points when you hit every 100th task

Why are you putting fighter torso above Torags platebody. Fighter torso has way lower stats? Fighter Torso +4 strength is not worth half the defense stats....
so why all the hate on Konar? its the most points per task and you can get brimstone keys. literally the only downside is specific spots, but thats really not that bad. and while the chest is def more useful for ironmen then mains, you cant just ignore it.
It is useful, yes. But from an overall perspective, Konar is just a bad slayer master for XP and money making. Not only do you have to contest with a mediocre task list, but also the locations that are assigned. Such as Greater Demons in the Chasm of Fire when you could do a normal task at GWD. There are 3 benefits to Konar: (1) Keys for iron accounts (2) Best slayer points (3) Hydra tasks (if you're blowing points to skip).
@@AsukaYenOSRS Mainly for gaining access to certain resources, notably it's a great source of magic logs that you don't need to cut yourself, and high-level seed drops are reasonably common. The dragon hasta is also good if you get it early, since it's easier to get karambwan poison than poison++ for irons.
I do all my wyrm and Dust Devil since I started using Konar only. Those Keys are add so much value to almost any task. My block list is mostly just Metal Dragons because they just feel bad at mid 70's combat and Suqahs because that task feels like such a waste of cannonballs and prayer pots.
Drakes wyrms abyssal Demons black demons (unless you wanna do demonic gorillas) Bloodveld Kraken (unless you wanna do the boss) Fire giants (if keeping black demons) Kalphite (if keeping kraken)

I absolutely hate Suqah. It feels like it takes absolutely forever even with a cannon. My task from Nieve have been Blue dragons, Suqah, Abby specs, repeat basically. 79 slayer btw.
abyssal demons can be barraged in the catacombs so i dont think its worth a block, also black dragons can be completed in a few minutes with baby black dragons so thats definitely not worth a block
Veracs Skirt > Dharoks Legs for leg slot. Nobody uses DH legs except ironmen Vestaments are MUCH better than proselyte for magic simply because you hit much more accurately and they have prayer bonus

@@AsukaYenOSRS Accuracy matters a bit even against monsters with lvl 1 magic. Run it through a dps calc to see how much on your level and gear. It might be a percent or two which is reason enough to give up about 3 pray bonus. For nechryaels I have historically used proselyte to reduce the amount I need to heal. Might switch to monk/vestment robes in the future though and just throw in a blood barrage every now and then

I personally have 99 range and bowfa/arma dhcb so I go do the task at brutals for cash

i skip or black, even as an iron they are a waste of time if you have spent time farming or thieving for seeds at all.

Scabaras minions tasks take like 10 minutes with a cannon and good gear you just have to pay attention in the lower cave so you don't get stacked out.

Because the imbued seers ring doesn’t give damage. Only accuracy.

Been on the wiki to every other slater master but this guy. Scoured the wiki around slayer, asked many people how to skip tasks, cancels tasks without slayer points. Can't believe I couldn't figure it out Big thanks bruv🙏
@@troyrussell177 no don't skip with tureal unless you just don't have the gear to fight them. But extended antitpotions are cheap and Iban blast works well on them. I'd go the korand dungeon personally to fight them. But most of the time it's asking you to kill less than 15 shouldn't be an issue with mage or a crossbow with good bolts.
@@troyrussell177 skipping with tureal screws up your score streak you want to start getting your task streaks set up to be high numbers. I'm in the 200s with 83 slayer. You'll get a ton more points when you hit every 100th task

Why are you putting fighter torso above Torags platebody. Fighter torso has way lower stats? Fighter Torso +4 strength is not worth half the defense stats....
It is. The way damage works in this game, DPS is always the priority over defense unfortunately. Defense doesn’t really matter that much.
so why all the hate on Konar? its the most points per task and you can get brimstone keys. literally the only downside is specific spots, but thats really not that bad. and while the chest is def more useful for ironmen then mains, you cant just ignore it.
It is useful, yes. But from an overall perspective, Konar is just a bad slayer master for XP and money making. Not only do you have to contest with a mediocre task list, but also the locations that are assigned. Such as Greater Demons in the Chasm of Fire when you could do a normal task at GWD. There are 3 benefits to Konar: (1) Keys for iron accounts (2) Best slayer points (3) Hydra tasks (if you're blowing points to skip).

Konar can be extremely useful for ironmen, thanks to the brimstone chest.

@@AsukaYenOSRS Mainly for gaining access to certain resources, notably it's a great source of magic logs that you don't need to cut yourself, and high-level seed drops are reasonably common. The dragon hasta is also good if you get it early, since it's easier to get karambwan poison than poison++ for irons.
I do all my wyrm and Dust Devil since I started using Konar only. Those Keys are add so much value to almost any task. My block list is mostly just Metal Dragons because they just feel bad at mid 70's combat and Suqahs because that task feels like such a waste of cannonballs and prayer pots.
What should my block list look like to get the best chance at a hydra task? I have wyrms, drakes and abyssal demons blocked. Any other tips?

"Abyssal demons are very slow" Wtf are you on about? You can burst abby demons and destroy a full task of 200+ in like 20 mins.
"Black Dragons" ??? Taverly, kill babies, done in 3 mins, gives you more skips.

I absolutely hate Suqah. It feels like it takes absolutely forever even with a cannon. My task from Nieve have been Blue dragons, Suqah, Abby specs, repeat basically. 79 slayer btw.
Black dragons is a super fast task if killing baby black dragons.
Eternal boots are the mage variety of pegasians/Prims. They give +8 magic accuracy
mage acc is garbage in slayer, u either want mage def for kraken, which eternals are okay for. or pray bonus for bursting.
abyssal demons can be barraged in the catacombs so i dont think its worth a block, also black dragons can be completed in a few minutes with baby black dragons so thats definitely not worth a block
also vorkath counts as a blue dragon so why would you tbow brutal blue dragons for duradel most money tasks

Veracs Skirt > Dharoks Legs for leg slot. Nobody uses DH legs except ironmen
Vestaments are MUCH better than proselyte for magic simply because you hit much more accurately and they have prayer bonus
The magic accuracy doesn’t matter. It’s essentially null when barraging these slayer tasks since the monsters magic defense is 1.

@@AsukaYenOSRS Accuracy matters a bit even against monsters with lvl 1 magic. Run it through a dps calc to see how much on your level and gear. It might be a percent or two which is reason enough to give up about 3 pray bonus.
For nechryaels I have historically used proselyte to reduce the amount I need to heal. Might switch to monk/vestment robes in the future though and just throw in a blood barrage every now and then
