I ordered my first gallon of dead on, some angling ai open pour molds, and lure works pigments and glitters. I'm really excited to get into soft plastics
I love how you go into detail on how to make these patterns on these baits. I would be very interested in how well the bait worked once you used them. You give me a lot of ideas and I appreciate you taking the time to make the video.
Shared and subscribed! Thank you so much for making your videos! When I got my first plastic making supplies I would have never figured it out without your videos!
I know what you mean about the weather-It’s finally cooling down here on the SE Texas coast, much welcomed. Mr. Jeff is a master-I still have some of his custom swimbaits, too pretty to throw 😄
FYI....the noise from the washing machine is not really distracting. Can I hear it....yes, but I can ignore it. I have done it to my wife for years....LOL
If you had skinned those AI action worms with that charcoal gray kind of color you do instead of the green pumpkin making it a shimmery gray color instead of the shimmery yellowy brown color it would actually resemble the leeches in my local lake.
What you should do is buy a Crayola Crayon Melter, and than combined the pearl effect, metallic effect, glitter effect, neon effect, confetti effect with the silly scents together and than let the newly created crayons cool down. You put them into the hot plastic for the baits and than you put the meteorite glitter effect into the plastic after the crayons melt into the plastic.
Chris love the details in the worms but had a quick question what is your opinion on MF plastisol? I know you use some of there colors just didn’t know about the plastic itself. I know deadon is your jam little pricey for me right now.
In my experience the dead on plastic has some of the most competitive pricing in the market, certainly on par with or cheaper than MF?? Either way I've heard very good things about their plastic, it is among the oldest in this hobby, they've been doing it a long time. I myself have never used it, so no firsthand knowledge.
@@WorldsWorstFishing thank you for the feedback and I should have specified I’m purchasing a small amount of MF until I can get the black bucket of dead on so that’s the price difference but I didn’t want to waist my time or money if it was not good stuff.
Unless one is making money off the added work involved by customer request then I don't see it. It makes for a good gimic but not a realistic worm color. Waisting more plastic & time than anything else. The perfect color is the one that catches fish & so the more realism of color then the better ones odds are. A good name for these style baits would be "Peacock baits", lol. You still did good job & good video. Keep up the good work.
@@WorldsWorstFishing I dig the art. Not sure how pursuing a passion is wasted time, but whatever. If you were inclined to do something similar with injection molds, my feelings would not be hurt.
The tip at 19:54 can be a lifesaver if you're using a griddle 👍
You bet!

Right on!
What other illusory effects can be accomplished? Let me know your dream bait in the comments below.
Wait how did you post this comment 4 hours ago but uploaded this vid 2 minutes ago did you have this vid on private first?
@@LeviVanSluijs yes the videos sit in unlisted until they go live
@@WorldsWorstFishing oh okay when I first saw the times I was like wait a minute that ain’t right
something that looks like a hard plastic jerkbait. Translucent sides. Like this ua-cam.com/video/r_bdzqWuJZE/v-deo.html
@@WorldsWorstFishing do some gummy worms
Super awesome effects from the hand pour King. I love the details you share on building colors.
Those long worms look sick Chris. Well done mate.
Incredible technique! Man I need to get some of the AI molds. The possibilities are endless! Thanks for more great content.

Thank you Chris, really appreciate your videos and enthusiasm. I have learned a lot from you and am really enjoying making baits as a newbie !!
Awesome to hear
Action worms were my favorite. Mostly because I love drop shot fishing. They all came out amazing.

Thanks man
Been enjoying the cooler weather helps with bait making that way my shop don't get too hot
Amen
Love this technique and love the color
It is some high level pouring that's for sure
Definitely a game changer to the bait making person looking for an edge to catch more fish!
Not only that it's a great exercise to build your bait making chops
I gotta try that! Those are awesome!
Once again you have out done yourself, those are amazing and i really dig how it came out on the action worm.
Thanks man, just sharing a little knowledge
Nice man u do the best work in my own word
Appreciate it
Thanks
Colors celebrating the Jax Jaguars win today!
Haha EXACTLY it!
those came out very well... artistic liscense is very freeing
Indeed
Wow, so wow!! Amazing work as always and great video++

Totally worth the effort and time, they are gorgeous
I agree, there's no substitute for effort
Absolutely awesome.. I am looking forward to a lot more hand pouring through the winter with some of the AI molds .. Awesome Job as always
Thanks dude
Those look awesome!

Great video love the worms. Keep up the great work

Yummiest looking "gummy worms" I've ever seen. Love it!!
So cool!!
Those are some beautiful color patters you have going on there!
Appreciate it
Hi, you make some awesome plastic baits WOW! I’m thinking to start on some regular pouring. Ill keep checking you’re vids for some tutorial 👌👍🏻
🙌🙌👌
You never cease to amaze me keep up the good work.
Thank you
Man those are awesome I hope I am as good as you some day keep the content coming learning something new every time I watch
Keep practicing and you'll get there soon
They look great
Thanks Dave

Yeah don't ruin those haha
That mold reminds me of the old school Charlie Brewer Slider worms.
The action worm would be a great drop shot set up.
Absolutely
They are awesome, did you ever do a crawl with that pouring method
All the time
That would be awesome to pour your area snake patterns!
Absolutely
how about starting a core shot Senko the same way, I'm going to give it a try!
Can you try to open pour an old creme style worm that had the hooks pre rigged inside them. I'd love to see your attempt
You could make a killing doing in person instruction. I may have to take this up as a winter hobby…make some craw color worms.
I would enjoy that too
Chris, ill take 500 of those.. thanks.
They look good, like to eat, reminds me of gummy snakes I’ve seen! 😂 Awesome job man.
Tasty stuff 😁
Today's color looks better to me. Like to see more hand pour worms.
🙌
Idea: Gel Pens as the colorant.
Saw a 50 ct gel pen pack at the bargain store for like 10 bucks. But will it work?
Wonder what hyper shift would do to the green color?
Make some ned rig type vids. Or smaller swimbaits. Is plebes in the Midwest don’t have bass larger than 5lbs. Lol
Great information would've loved to see a comparison in filling in with pearl or green pumpkin
It's just not as bright, the white filling brightens everything for better visibility
Have you ever tried injecting jello or pouring jello into the molds? Would make some cool "jello jigglers"
I wish I had one of those swimbaits so I can make a silicone mold
Masterful. Good instruction video. What temp do you recommend during the final step
I just crank the hot plate up all the way until they look like they are done
I'm curious.
I put it in the mold with the mold.
There's a layer of air. Why is that?
Make these in a garter snake pattern
I know you've heard about the inu rig, thinking about any plastics to suit the rig?
I'm not a big fan of it but it is very interesting
Man I'm in Texas and we have similar climates and it has been a struggle to make baits with the cold weather.
Sometimes you need to preheat molds
Where do u get your fishing bags
I'd pay three bucks a worm for those! Awesomeness!
Well I'll be offering a lot of these on Instagram here soon
Do you sell any of the soft plastics you make?
FYI....the noise from the washing machine is not really distracting. Can I hear it....yes, but I can ignore it. I have done it to my wife for years....LOL

Very interesting
you should try to replicate a coral snake pattern. :)
Yeah that is definitely on the list

Can u make a video about pouring in a injection mold
I have a video all about that, it's called hand pouring injection molds
These are cool looking worms,Ii wish i could throw them! Love your videos.
Thanks David
Amazing as always.. Damn you Chris.. now I have to buy an open pour mold from AI
Do it

I do..on my Instagram account
