This is better than doing layups...It prepares one for the speed that is actually used In the game. It warms up and stretches the body for the upcoming game. Brilliant!

I absolutely LOVE this drill. My team uses it to warm up before every practice and every game and this drill is great for team chemistry, every single guy on my team is scoring during the game. Instead of doing lay ups and guys working on dribbling and shooting, you get passing, rebounding, shooting and dribbling all in one warm up. LOVE THIS

I love this drill. A college I visited used this drill bit brought three people down the court and had two players playing defense, so the guard would bring the ball down the court and take a shot or swing it to a wing. And whoever scored, got the rebound, or stole would bring the ball back the other way and be one of the next three of the next group. And the two players that were just on offense would become defenders as the next three would already be approaching

If it's endorsed by Geno it's happening in my practice. 💯

He's not only the most successful BB coach in WBB, he is arguable in a category with John Wooden. It's more than his player development. Many credit him with being a major factor in the increasing parity in the game. Note all the sideline spectators with notebooks. His practices are open to other coaches. One way to improve your field of activity is to help others. Great!

Story Gordon Nobody in a category with John Wooden! Many good ones, but Wooden wrote the book on the game as we know it.

I'm adding this but on a make we'll step outta bounds and make the quick inbound to the outlet area

I prefer WCBB to the men because they play below the rim which I played in the fifties (not very well) and seem more team oriented. The fast break bounce pass is amazing.

And that's why he is who he is.

Instead of just rebounding it and giving an outlet pass, have them step out of bounds to mimic a scored basket and to initiate a fast-break.

i like how geno calls it simple tacktics, which they are, you have to be consistent though, and bust your butt or else it wont be the way it needs to be, i also like his pickiness for the minor details, you dont win championships by just "winging it', never do you see popovich, krzyzewski, calipari, or any good coach be okay with the "well we are winning by alot so lets just stop" attitude, it does not matter how much you win or lose by its always how you play.

These guys just wanted to play a pick up game until Gino arrived. Some escape by using the back doors to the gym. They went back to the dorm. They want no part of it. Lol.

      Sue Taylor
UConn has been my favorite college women’s basketball team for years.
I much prefer to watch the women play basketball then the men.
The women play basketball the way the game was meant to be played.
When the men in college basketball play it almost looks like a wrestling match under the rim when they hook their arms and legs around each other to gain position.
