Britt, the pistol hand move is accurate for hammer fired pistols/revolvers (the guns that existed before the striker fired pistols, like a glock) The index finger does indeed represent the barrel, but the thumb isn’t supposed to be the grip, but the hammer cocked back. One of my favorite things about watching Harry Mack AND reaction channels like yours is how it helps me get better at recognizing nuances like that. Seeing all types of reactions, hearing opinions, etc., besides being fun, I also think it's helping us elevate our competence in handling these nuances in our day-to-day lives, to help us connect or be more empathetic to others because we are more used to seeing the different ways people perceive and respond to things, if that makes sense.
