Any time I get to see and hear Lucy makes my day. Both versions were beautiful, a very pleasant 10 mins. Lucy is on her way. Her Hallelujha is in a new Dennis Quaid movie. And her latest is the theme song of a new tv series. Remember you met her here. Good show Jeff thanks.🤠
it is difficult to compare a non professional live video to a studio version. Lea Salonga is a very good singer , no doubt. But my heart and soul is always with Lucy.❤
Lea also sang the movie soundtrack of Mulan,I think about the same time Lucy sang her version, their is just no comparison Lucy is so much better in every way
Solanga is definitely an accomplished professional with a powerful voice in the waning years of her career. Lucy has a special quality that is unique and her voice is pure gold. She is just beginning to ascend into the spotlight and is destined for greatness.
Well when I heard Lea Salonga version sing this at first was the best, but when I listen also couple of Lucys song's she have perform, Lucy is the very best talented beautiful vocals voices I have ever heard.
Hi There Good re action .Lea´s version is good . But Lucy´s voice is perfection and is the better of the two .She sang this at 16years old she had an incredible voice then ,now at 19 her voice has matured so much more .She is now one of the greatest female vocalists today bar none. She has just released an original which is the theme song for a new TV series it is called "A brand new day" Please don´t miss out and re act to this ,you will not be disappointed .
Lucy Thomas is very talented, but she is covering the Christina Aguilera version of "Reflection" - they are really like apples and oranges. Check out Angela Lansbury singing "Beauty and the Beast" compared to the duet of "Beauty and the Beast" by Peabo Bryson and Celine Dion - completely different. By the way: Lea Salonga (pronounced LAY-ah) was born on Feb 22, 1991 and many refer to her as the Pride of the Philippines. She started performing at age 7 and through her childhood and teens she did theater, albums, concerts, film and tv in the Philippines. Lea got her international big break when she originated the lead role of Kim in the musical MISS SAIGON in London at age 18 and on Broadway at age 20. Lea won every major theater award for her portrayals. Lea is the singing voice of 2 Disney Princesses - Jasmine (singing "A Whole New World") and Mulan (singing this song "Reflection"). She has many other credits and accomplishments, but there are too many to name.
Hi ya - I have to say that Lea Salonga did a great job with this song. However, Lucy Thomas is the most amazing singer of this generation. I know that the video of Lea was on a cell phone and not the best quality, BUT Lucy Tomas's performance of this song is WAY better than Lea's. Crystal clear enunciation, no vocal gymnastics - just the best version of this song I have ever heard. I agree with Stephen, Lucy is THE best vocalist in the world right now.
Lea has a lovely voice but too much vibrato. Lucy is much softer and smoother with less vibrato or a softer one. Lucy wins way ahead. I would like to see both doing a duet together.

And she’s just getting better and better!
You got that right.
Lucy was 14/ 15 here! Love both!

Dear Meredith, It's Feb.22, 1971. She's now 52 years old.
Familiar with the song but don’t know it. 2 wonderful singing voices.
🙏🙏🙏
Great singers!,to me Lucy's voice has more richness& inflection!,though i am probablt bias,as to me ,she is the best thing since 'sliced bread'.😀
Always Lucy!! ❤
Anyone here who says Lucy is the best singer in the world is biased and already made up their mind beforehand.
Well it comes with the territory! Thanks Rocky!!
