I DO NOT OWN THE MUSIC
This was one of the easiest installs. Took me 15 mins... Hardest part was jacking up the car... U have to put the bolt halfway on the engine side before u slide it into slot... That's the trick... A rubber hammer a crow bar and some pb blaster and a lil ky jelly for the slide in for the frame part lol... jk I didn't use ky jelly.
Rahim Damji I wish I knew this before hand lol! Appreciate the tip! I’ll pin this comment so others could see it too!
@@ChrisLowpes lol awesome bro. Great video as usual. Car is looking great!
Rahim Damji thanks buddy!
Absolutely concur about putting bolt in first!!
It took longer looking for the 10mm socket 😮💨
Dude, that cuts in frame is for putting bolt directly to hasport arm for about 3/4 length and then pry up to make line for hole in other side. Simple as hell, no front pipe disassembly required xD
I installed the torque solutions 75A rear mount on my Si, the difference is night and day. The car definitely puts power down more easily and vibrations are bearable. I’m probably take apart the dash and put foam on where I think it’ll reduce the dash rattle.
Infamous melon that’s awesome buddy! I love mine also
Thanks for this video, just wanted to add something, I just did my yesterday and I have the 3" front and down pipe , if you have the same you don't have to take your down pipe out you just need crow bar to help you get the side bolt first a this will help you clear the pipe .
Good review, extremely detailed. Don't even own a 10th gen si but I still watched ahaha.
AeroPrixma lmao I appreciate the watch!! Thank you!
Big fan from the states bro keep it up got the same civic si 2 months ago and already got a ton of parts for it
el mencho thanks so much!!
Honestly I'm probably going to go with the perrin inserts alot cheaper and does the same job as that 62a mount
I love the upgrade! Ran Hasport on many Honda’s so it was my go too as well
Moorelow thanks man!
Why didn’t you slide the 19mm bolt into the mount partially and then slip it into the joint instead of lining the mount up before you went to install the 19
Nice video brotha
and those shields always fall off on these newer civics
fishing_day_night Ali thanks brotha!
Bro, that aquity shifters looks awesome 🍺
Teg Gisser it’s amazing! You’ll love it if you get one
I tried the Perrin inserts for a bit but too much car rattle when the AC is on or the car is at a low idle. Also clutch engagement got more choppy and less smooth with a stiffer motor mount so I pulled them out 🤔
Not one mention about the performance about what's this supposed to do, does it put down the power better at wot? Does it prevent wheel hoping?
Bro great videos Definitely helps, after my exhaust install felt a little rattle on the start up after putting on the mount feels amazing
Anthony koch awesome I’m happy your enjoying the mount!!
Chris Lowpes bro your videos are great and definitely help, did you see they have a hks bov kit Direct bolt on for our cars
Anthony koch appreciate it that, thank you! Before purchasing a BOV I’d highly recommend you do some research on it as it can damage your car, check out civicx.com
Chris Lowpes it’s a full recirculating valve kit made Directly for the 1.5 engine www.procivic.com/p/ym/2018/civic/hks-super-sqv4-blow-off-valve.html?ctid=3780
Anthony koch I haven’t looked into yet but sounds interesting
*PB B'LASTER/WD-40 is a no no when installing polyurethane bushings. It will ruin the bushings*
Cool I’ve been wondering about this. Please do a follow up after a month or after a thousand miles or so. Your review will be the deciding factor if I get it or not. Thanks.
Kris Menon yea for sure If I get enough demand I don’t mind doing a follow up review! If not just send me a DM on Instagram in a few weeks
Thanks for the vid. I'm going to get one after I upgrade my exhaust!
Brett Brossart not a problem! Thanks for watching!
Did you ever get the Whiteline anti-lift kits? If so, how does it feel? Pro's?
Chris Lowpes: Having difficulties....
Me: Banging my head off the coffee table ...." come on, put the bolt in ! "
lol.. great vid !
Grant Harrigan lmao, thanks!!
The best Honda Civic is the 2018 for me 10 gen
Do you have anything supporting the transmission? I don't know how old this posters but yeah.
Thanks for the great install video! I will definitely install it at the same time as the PRL fp/dp to avoid some of the difficulties you experienced. How does the car feel after driving with the RMM for a few months? Has the vibration gone away or is it still pretty noticeable?
Hey thanks! It’s definitely gone down quite a bit but you can still fill it coming out of 1st gear a bit
@@ChrisLowpes Okay, thanks! How many miles do you have on the RMM?
Hey Chris, so what is the performance gain from this? Does it help put power down more or make it pull harder or better?
Your si is tight! What do you think of the torque rear mount ?
knockou2 thanks bro! I honestly really enjoy it, I’d highly recommend it!
Is this the cure for wheel hop I’ve been looking for?
Definitely helps!
How’s the motor mount holding up now that it’s been in for awhile.
It’s been great, barley feel it anymore
Lowpez did the vibrations end up settling,or are they still the same from when you first installed it?
Yes they did, you can barley feel it now
@@ChrisLowpes thanks for the reply bro!
@@joeygraziani416 no problem!
@@ChrisLowpesso the vibrations settle down, but what about the benefits? Still got less wheel hop? More grip?
And have you ever installed the Whiteline Anti-lift kits?
I'm stuck between 27Won and the Hasport 62a. But I'll probably go with the Hasport because I've never had an aftermarket rmm so I don't know how vibration would be, anyways how has the vibration died down? Almost stock feel now or what?
Jordan Knight yea it definitely died down a lot from the initial install. I barley notice it now but it is definitely stiffer.
Hi Chris I have a stock civic it’s not any special racing version it’s just a base civic would it still be worth doing some work on it like some body work and maybe a new air intake?
BethesdaDaily at the end of day it’s totally up to you. If you enjoy modding your car I’d say go for it!
Give a update on vibrate
thanks for the review!! I’ve had this motor mount on my to-buy list for a while but I was kinda skeptical of the NVH. pls do an update video though since these motor mounts tend to have a “break-in” period where some of the vibrations go away with the bushing softening up!! Thanks😁
Raptor not a problem!! If I have enough demand I’ll make a video, If not send me a DM in a few weeks and I’ll let you know my thoughts
How did you torque 19mm bolt?
With the TSP tune, how do you keep the Map 3 stage one on after you turn off / on the car? It get annoying whenever I tune on the car and have to use cancel and go to Map 3 again. Any solution?
Thank!
Adam Lee if you keep your Ktuner plugged in it should automatically go to your Map 3! Hope that works!
What do you use for editing software?
Cameron Hill I use adobe premiere pro and sometimes Final Cut Pro
👌👌
What purpose does this serve?
It helps engine movement and wheel hop
Whered you get the hid headlights?
Leo Tellez they come on all the Canadian 10th gen Si’s from factory
Hey bro! What brand are you using for the window visors? Does it have clip? And where did you get them? Thank you so much
Hey bro, they are mugen style visors and I got them at garage16.ca
Hi i put a mount Boomba Racing and didn’t last me a week. the vibration is so much!!! Don’t buy
You need to break it in. Takes about two weeks also it depends how stiff you go.
I think the guy is not a mechanic. So he's not aware about the bolt situations or about a open end wrench, but we all learn.
check the shidplateguys.com and you can get a metal on made
