Combining fire trucks and aviation - CobraEmergency approves! Love to see the trucks roll like that, and even better following behind the MD11 as it taxis.
Very nice!! Love the time of day of your filming as it makes for nice effects!! Glad no problems with the FedEx MD-11. . . Beautiful, Captain Steven!! Thanks!! 💕✈✈💕
Awesome catch with the emergency landing. This video was recommended to me because I'm a fan of fire departments, fire apparatus, and FD operations. Just last year, I was flying out of Atlanta (from a layover) and a single standard fire engine was responding to an emergency at the airport and had to yield to our plane that was on taxi to the runway.
Great video. Loved the casual style. MCO to TPA is mighty short for an A300! I drove it in 1994 on my only trip to Florida from Australia, and that didn't take very long😂😂
1994 the traffic wasn’t anything like it is now in 2022. I-4 is an absolute nightmare most days. I flew out of MCO in 2017 to the UK, I lived near TPA and it took me 3 hours to get from Tampa to Orlando in the early afternoon. A300 it’s a hop, skip, and a jump lol
Starting in April Frontier is moving back to the postage stamp from ORD. If they run their $20 flights Southwest will have to step up their game. Ticket price wars are good for me!
Looks like a lot of planes were flying heavy today. Too many spring breakers! I love how you call the long takeoffs “wall of shame”! Keep up the good work with these videos! 😁
Is the wall of shame the building that some of the aircraft disappear behind on departure climb out and other aircraft stay visible as they climb above the building?
I’m watching the MD-11 Emergency video right now. Published on my b-day, too! I’m still laughing at your comment on Delta’s 767 to ATL. “If anyone is in first class for the one hour flight…”.
Many thanks for your video from TPA it was great sound and film quality was brilliant many thanks Captain from Rich and Tanya. From across the pond Southampton UK.God bless and regards to the boss.
Hi Captain Martin here I have been missing your videos because my phone crashed so I had to get a new one I'm so happy to be able to see those beautiful aircrafts so glad to be back Captain thanks for everything
You're so funny to listen to. More entertaining than hearing Kevin talk about Kevin in the third person and giggle maniacally on Airline Videos Live. Or hearing Peter repeat himself a thousand times on LA Flights. But truthfully they are great. You have a fantastic "mic" presence and really make me want to "like and subscribe."
This makes me homesick for SOG CITY, (South of Gandy), Tampa. I lived just north of Macdill AFB off of Interbay and I have been a plane watcher since I was 5 years old, LITERALLY LIVING across the highway from Honolulu airport AND Hickam AFB, HI. I SAW A SHIT TON OF LARGE AIRCRAFT ON A DAILY BASIS back in 1972! Lots of 74's and USAF C-5'S!
I should probably clarify......I'm turning 55 tomorrow and I was trying to explain how I love aviation BECAUSE of living in Hawaii 50 years ago. I meant to say that I call Tampa my second home and I love watching this guy! There's just something so damn "comfortable " about watching airplanes taking off and landing! No, I'm not a pilot, but am a Air Force veteran.......duh!
I miss living in Citrus Park! My husband and I would go to TPA and plane spot. Also I had a great view of seeing the heavys come over my apartment and would track them on FlightAware to watch them when we weren’t at TPA. I’ve always lived near airports and since moving to Tennessee, TYS is the closet but the air traffic is nothing compared to Florida and it’s 30 miles as compared to 6 when in Florida.
Regarding the "KC135" it belongs to the Alaska Naional Guard you can tell by the AK and the Polar Bear on the tail. I think it may have come out of my backyard in Fairbanks.
Good to see you back home! Landed at TPA on Wednesday for the first time since watching your channel. While not my first visit, I enjoyed looking for the “Wall of Shame” and the “Boeing Factory”. I’ll be in 14A on AA flight 2908 to PHL 10:29AM Sunday if you are filming then. I’ll wave if I see you.
Capt Steve, I have a question that I have to ask you. I know take-off weight plays a big role on how much of the runway and if a jet makes the wall of shame but if a jet is not fully loaded is it the pilot's choice to use more runway than others or do airlines mandate that a pilot utilize a longer take-off to control fuel burn?
90% of the time they don't use full power to takeoff its called derating the engine. It will extend the takeoff distance while the pilots use less thrust. It saves money on the engine and wear and tear.
Look at that moon. Missed your nicknames for planes-the Boeing factory. Frozen tundra. as I type this 3-19) we had the lower 50’s today. Sunshine, slow melting of snow, wonderful! My area of MN got a lot of snow this season. I wanted to ask you about plane nicknames. Why is Breeze known by Moxie? Why do any of them have call signs that differ from actual names? Thank You.
@9:50 damn all those cell antennas on the tower. Guessing that is extremely common at US airports to have cellular antennas on the ATC towers? Don’t think they do that so much up here in the Great White North (AKA Canada)

@@CaptainStevenMarkovich thanks. Is the sun always in your back from that location throughout the day or doea it move and face you head on? Lovely location

Density Altitude maybe🤔 What was the humidity at the time, barometric pressure. I caught the temp was 62. Some of those flights are surely topped off and heavy.
I was wondering what as going on as we setup for the A300 UPS Postal flight. We called in too see if it was our flight but got no reply from our dispatch and after we blocked the flight in on 47 the crew did not know what issue was. They where too busy trying too figure out how too get to the parking spot, they always seam unable too read the airport chart, that they can not go through parked aircraft.

@@nizo6673 Misunderstood you apparently. I agree, empty cans and warped bottom edges create a lot of stuck can issues. It's a tough job, especially as cavernous the main cargo compartment is.
