- Hello Everyone! Thanks for all your kind thoughts, prayers, comments and donations. I'm on the mend and looking forward to getting back in the garage to turn some wrenches.

So very happy to hear that you're back firing on all cylinders again EZGZ. That's quite a trip you've had! My younger brother had a massive heart attack just before Christmas and I held his hand in hospital as he passed away the following morning. He was only 62. Live life to the full every day and enjoy working on your VW's again. I know I certainly will. I'm so so happy that you've been given a second chance! Lotsa love from Scotland 😊

glad your starting to feel better make sure you don't overdo it too soon and pretend your breaking in a new engine slow and steady for a while before you put the pedal to the metal and don't be afraid to ask close friends for help with the hard stuff I'm sure they will be there if you need them take care buddy

I work in the business of keeping tickers ❤going, so I'm pretty familiar with the shop manual. Since your new part is under eternal warranty, there's a few good practices to follow to get the most miles out of it:
1)Love one another.
2)Forgive one another.
3)Do not worry
4)The Joy of the Lord is your strength
5)Don't pop the clutch at red lights.
6)Watch your oil pressure. You don't wanna blow another seal !
7)Remember: you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Share your story.

It’s good to see you back you’ve been through a lot “Six million dollar man” hope it gives you the energy to enjoy your VW habit. Long covid has taken my ability away so I’m kind of living these experiences I miss through you, my superbeetle and turbo buggy will have to wait for my health to return. 🤙❤

Superb , glad to see they looked after you, take everything easy, I have an implant in my chest as well, not a pacemaker though but similar size, once the hair grows back, it doesn’t bother you, you definitely have the pertronix one. Laughing because as soon as you said that your heart wasn't beating on its own, I was thinking that you should have just saved the doc the guesswork and had him hook you up with a trusty 009 and Pertronix... and then 2 minutes later you said the same thing!!! You still have plenty of good times to be had EZ...

The buggies are what most people call sand rails, but they have always been called dune buggies in Alabama.
