Thanks for the content, I recently acquired a silver 03 ml350 already put some 285 55 20 all terrains with no issues phew 😮💨 and a bull bar, it looks good but the lift will make it look tough! btw I also acquired some fender flares off a 02 ml500 sport, for a steal at the junk yard I’ll add on soon, same color to, the amg style bumpers were damaged tho 😢 otherwise I’m so stoked I can’t wait to hit the terrain once I’m done 😊
Anyone here try infidel garage kits ? He has a 3 inch lift kit available for the w163 . I’m going to pull the trigger soon I love his UA-cam channel because I recently got a silver 2004 ml500 and plan to do an “ overland “ build with it soon . Let the part stacking begin
You should make a series on you building it up that would really cool and helpful, I just bought a 2002 Mercedes ml500 and plan to build it up for over landing too
You are right - Mercedes just discontinued production of upper bushings, there are some original ones on eBay, but priced as a Boeing :), I am so disappointed. There are no aftermarket ones as well.
Wasn't there any issues with hoses and wires in engine bay? Because some of them are attached to engine which sits on frame and some of them attached to body. Also what about steering column?
What type of fan is on the radiator? Raising it sounds good but then if its a mechanical fan it’s gonna rub the shroud. Also moving it up is going to affect the hoses and anything attached to the radiator. Making new brackets at the top of the radiator would affect less.
@@Nd_72 Is it electrical or mechanical? Like I said above it may cause issues with hoses rubbing on other parts or be stretched or in a bind. Not saying it won’t work the way you want to do it but look at those things first.
Did doing this give you extra clearance to get to the rear strut nuts? Mine are stripped and I was wondering if I could lift the body like this just slightly to try to get them with a socket
Thanks for bolt info. I bought them and put it all together! Thanks
Happy to help
Hi there how you manage the steering column length? Thanks very much.

Great idea! I love this channel!
Happy that people do
The thing is those rubber bushings are not available from the dealership. There are no aftermarket either so it's best to find a company to make them

No probably but what was shown

The fan is just the stock ml55 fan
