It was a while ago, so forgive my bad memory, but I think one of my friends got it and I wanted to be on the same level as him. Also, it was one of those skills I always thought was "hard" despite ardy roofs being piss easy so knowing if I could do 99 I could do anything was a pretty big turning point in my attitude toward the game (I got 99 rc staright after). It's also a good skill, helps pretty universally within the game, mostly abyss runecrafting though. 99 agility-200m is just a blur, I remember wanting to continue playing runescape after I maxed and it was the easiest skill I could think of so I just sat on the roofs for 9 months.
