    Something a lot of people don't know; If you use ground items and you want to highlight/unhighlight items, you can use left/right clicks whilst holding alt to cycle them on/off. Sometimes there are a lot of items making it difficult to click the minus or plus boxes.

    When it comes to skilling I either want to be completely afk or insanely click intensive, the spot in between where it’s boring as hell and you can’t focus on a movie or show on the side because it’s just demanding enough that it needs your attention
    For example mining until you unlock upper level motherlode is 100% my least favorite thing in the game, but I love 1 tick chins

      this so much, my most hated skilling is probably all the minigame skilling like wt, temp, zalcano and gotr, it's just too inbetween, I can only multibox extremely afk things with something like GotR aswell and the others are just insanely boring. I think it's due to easy to do perfectly = I lose attention.

      Giant's Foundry is the best example of this imo, absolutely horrible content. The amount of swords I fucked up is greater than the amount of perfect swords. in case it helps at all, if you understand the tick system well enough: 1t relies on setting the trap on the same tick as moving to the next tile, start your cycle on tick 1 (assuming 3t for simplicity), click the ground on tick 2 (this helps keep rythm and you can move to the correct tile to set the trap on if not already there and also prevents accidentally making tar/stock, and click the trap and the spot you wanna move to on tick 3. So knife-log on 1, click ground on 2, trap set + click next location on tick 3.
      to set traps in a chain, you need to move to the tile the next trap is on during tick 3 of the cycle, it can be tricky to click a tile you've set a trap on, to practise only set 4 traps in (the corners of) a 3x3 tile sq so you can click past with run on and land on the squares easily. The tick your true tile lands on the trap, (assuming you did the cycle right) you click on the trap to dismantle it, and click the new trap the tick the old one dissapears (this is 3 ticks after your last one, so 4t overall).

      I in case you wanna try before a vid releases, the trick is to knife-log on the same tick you click the next rock in the cycle, if you start the animation while you move you did it right.
      once you feel comfy staying in 3t cycle you can try dropping inbetween (I would not recommend dropping when going for the north rock (bottom of your screen) because it's already the furthest mouse movement). in this case: knife log and click rock on tick 1, click to drop items on tick 2, and click back on the rock on tick 3.
      camera position and client size are key, good luck if you wanna try

    I have RSI in my wrist, but luckily I’m a programmer so I wrote my own bots. As a paying customer I don’t see why I shouldn’t bot things like 99 crafting if that’s what I want to do. If I’m ever caught and banned, well I’ll just find another game, I’m not risking my hand health because these game devs can’t think of an interesting way to skill.

    Have you ever tried out rebinding the arrow keys to WASD? Never seen any high skill players do this, but I feel so much in control since I can hit shift with my pinky and my hand is in perfect position to hit the F keys. Curious if anyone has thoughts why rebinding may be worse than mouse controlled camera.

    • @scottyb6842
      @scottyb6842 Рік тому

      Why would you use the arrow keys ?
      Seems pretty obsolete since mouse controlled camera is so much faster and easier

    • @thefranklin6463
      @thefranklin6463 Рік тому

      @@scottyb6842 I'm not, im using wasd, and, as i explained above, it places my hand in a great position for reaching shift (dropping/walking under npcs), ctrl (run toggling) and the f keys. I don't find the mouse control that much easier since it makes it difficult rotate the camera and click at the same time. I don't need to quickly rotate the camera ever, at least any faster than the wasd rotation allows, but I am constantly rotating the camera while clicking at hallowed sep and when kiting bosses for example.
