- On the most recent episode of the MotoXpod Show, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing's Max Anstie opened up about his decision to change teams. In this excerpt from the show Max discusses having more testing options and teaming with guys like Haiden Deegan, Jordon Smith, Cooper Webb, and the others. He reminds us that he hasn't raced a proper outdoor race on a 250 in America since 2010 and jokes about the 250 being faster than a 450 he rode the last time he did outdoors.

The Star team has 1 of the best 250 bikes on track, the pay raise probably helps too
Don't forget that the Australian team that Yarrive owns in Australia is the HRC team and the bike that Kyle Webster rode in the 450 class at Southwick into 7th place in moto 2 and a top 10 overall would have had its development base done in Australia through HRC
Awesome interview, guys. Max is such a class act.
Dudes a fn champ and deserves the factory ride period.
He got antsy and could wait to make the move.
because his WSX title isn't worth defending.
Imagine not listening and just commenting lol dumb fool
He made the best move. He’s gonna be for real
I have tried to contact Vital because not one of your podcasts on Double Twist will download please have someone look into this situation.
Because he has a family.
Im sure Firepower were all in they were just all in with 1/20th the budget of Star Yamaha.
Maxs old ride got a 7th place in the 450 class , might have traded down .
All the ones who hyped Max at Wick feel foolish now!!!! Betting against Deegan is a fools bet
Good thing he rides faster than he answers a question 🤦🏻😴
😂👌🏾
1 job, help Haiden win championship
I doubt they would put them on the same coast
Good point
Ppl said Dylan was to old and shit but max is one yr older and has already had an pretty good 450 career… so boring with these older guys taking up spots from younger guys, if a teenager doesn’t do what kitchen or deegan does they are out after 1 year… give the youngsters time to get used to the speed of pro racing and not throw them out right away
Going to star doesn't guarantee success. He has a 50/50 chance of it going sideways.... Based on the rest of the star team.
Money
That's why everyone works. Do you work for free?
@@dogfish180 no shit Sherlock
I like Max but media does him wrong. You guys hype him like crazy just like you did before SX. “Rumor is max is the fastest guy” then he shows up and doesn’t really do anything special….
This will be the exact same. His best day will be a 3rd if that.
He had the red plate man. Cmon.
@@genesis2187for 1 race so what 😂
Bro won a race on a non-factory bike. When was the last time that happened? @@ONKINGDAVID
He didn’t do good today like everyone claimed.
Wasn’t really a surprise!!!
@@motolarry it shouldn’t have been he sucks. He’s about aged out of the 250’s
@@sapper3504 Judgment on one race! He was 9th out of 40 in moto 2, or didn't you watch it? look at who finished behind him. You should apply for the job as Star Racing Yamaha Manager, as you obviously know better than them who to sign.
@@dogfish180 dogfish yo dude I remember you from the bar the other night. You went home with those two gay dudes. Dude you where so drunk man. You alright?
@sapper3504 Oh you were in the gay bar too? 😆
