Hats off to those who watch traditional horror movies. My crippling anxiety & trauma responses to day-to-day life jump scare me enough. I watch the weird, quiet, cinematic horror films that have barely any violence or talking.
Me too!!! I love reading horror fiction but movies are way too intense. I’ve only ever enjoyed the “so bad they’re good” horror movies, those cheesy, low budget ones!😭😭😭
Okay can i just say, you're literally my FAVOURITE ASMR youtuber of all time. I love all your iceberg and mystery videos, theyre soo interesting! especially when all this kind of mystery/horror/scary stuff is a big special interest to me! So i love listening to this kind of stuff before bed, it keeps me from looking at my phone since some ASMR videos are just too unengaging for me. At the same time, your voice is soo soothing and relaxing, i feel like your channel is such an unique gem amongst all the ASMRtists on here!!
love this video !! also, gaspar noé is easily one of the best filmmakers out there (in my humble opinion)! while quite disturbing, his films yet carry such an immaculate view on so many intense subjects and experiences, not to mention that he holds such a magnificent skill in the art of cinematography and phenomenal casting, soundtracks, improv scripts, etc. easily one of the greatest of all time !!
Would like to go ahead and throw the film “Men” into either the 1st or 2nd tier. Same writer/director as Ex Machina and Annihilation…. Highly recommend!
While not the most gruesome of the list, In a Glass Cage is certainly one of the most disturbing, mostly in its themes and contextual imagery. Still a great watch, though!
When they were filming Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the director Tobe Hooper was hoping for a PG rating, which is why the film has hardly any gore and the kills are all off screen.
I’m not sure if it’s mentioned in this video, but Thanatomorphose is actually my favourite movie of all time. The amount of symbolism is incredible and honestly it’s such a good representation of certain aspects. Though it is quite intense and gory, shows lots of nudity and sexual themes, it displays such depth when it comes to depression and self image. I love this movie with my full heart, and I fully recommend it to anyone, but please note that it has a lot of gore, body horror, sexual themes and such.
Oooh Hard Candy is a really good film - it's all psychological torture. There is really only the 2 actors in the film (with an appearance from Sandra Oh) and they carry it so well
I'm gonna assume you haven't watched many of these? And if not, good. Most of them are just torture porn features that don't really contribute much to cinema!
My favorite is Dumplings (The full version not the short - the short version is part of an anthology called 3 Extremes - if you like this anthology you should look into the Thai anthology called 4Bia) as I love Chinese/Japanese/Korean/Thai horror. It's mad how I've seen about 95% of these movies, I didn't find any of them disturbing, maybe I'm too desensitized to it all
Come and see is one of the most horrific movies I have ever seen. Being Jewish seeing the Nazis beat and one of my people and racially abuse him makes me lose faith in humanity. The main character as well goes from being an innocent child to a person willing to murder anyone who stands in his way no matter how painful he hurts them. The Nazis had a way of making their enemies equally as evil as them
I love your videos, but that white noise is kinda ehh..if you could find a way to cut that then your voice would come across way more cleaner please know I hold no hate in that sentence
I am not sure if “Tusk” is on this list but I really hope it is because the ending of that movie sent me on a down spiral🤢🤮, I will probably fall asleep before I find out lol
I love body horror but that movie legitimately gave me nightmares 😭 I think the surgical aspect is most disturbing to me, and that he’s still fully conscious and able to think.
there’s one movie on here that should be the only thing in tier 7. forgot the name but it was banned in over 30 countries and for good reason. shit was alèse than most of these
I definitely don’t look forwards to watching any of these, no matter how high or low on the chart😭 Horror can be fun if I’m watching with friends, but seriously… the movies stress me out💀 I will enjoy hearing about the plots from the safety of a relaxing ASMR video😌🥲❤️
The Game is an awesome awesome movie. The twist at the end... I was not expecting and have not seen that in another movie... Oh wait apart from one which was like an escape room movie.
personally im a huge fan of both horror movies and iceberg videos and seeing them combined just hits different 🔥 kaya never disappoints us 💜

You should watch the Terrifier 2.
Like The VVitch
I've been trying to watch martyrs again. Or overlord
That static noise with the fluffy mic is so relaxing
No thank you to that static god it drives me insane

Is it wrong that true crime / horror makes me relax? It's like "things could be worse right now"
I love how the first tier is literally just your bog standard horror film, and later on the films become actually disturbing and weird.
Such a good video (and just in time for nap)!! Now i want to rewatch them all
This is such an awesome concept for a video, and it’s also an hour and a half?? We are so spoiled, you’re the best!!
aw thank you 💜
I recently found your channel! They have become a fave already!
glad you're enjoying them!
i love ur iceberg videos so much 😧😧sleeping well tn 😴😴
you always pick the best topics to cover, love it
Sinister was a great film of its genre I think. I called my little bull terrier Mr. Boogie because he’s a wee monster too.
that's a good one 😄
This was a masterpiece I just sat and watched the whole video
thank you!💜
This is my third night in a row falling asleep to this. The combination of your whisper and the fluffy mic is perfection! 😴💕
thank you💜

House That Jack Built, Come and See, Act of Killing, Midsommar, and Pink Flamingos are sooooooooo good.
my friend watched A Serbian Film which you mention, and it scarred her so bad she couldnt discuss it after!
1:00:38 sad fact: actual animal deaths are shown in this film, the director was charged for animal cruelty as well
jesus?? 😭 why do people do such cruel things
When they were filming Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the director Tobe Hooper was hoping for a PG rating, which is why the film has hardly any gore and the kills are all off screen.
Not sure whether there's a site you read from or you do the research yourself but its always a good video

Thankyou ! You should do creepy rabbit hole videos 😊
Thanks for the idea!
Contagion is a really good movie. And its a lot like Covid pandemic in many ways, but the creepy thing is- the movie came out in 2011.
Great video 🫶🏽🫶🏽 thank you so much. Been going through it lately and due for some good sleep later.
Sorry to hear that. Hope it gets better soon🙏🏼
@@asmrkaya sorry I’ve missed a few notis 😭😅 still very grateful and thank you sm for the videos 🫶🏽

I'm gonna watch this entire video wish me luck kaya 😃😃
good luck 😀

youre so cool and edgy bud, happy now?
Most of them are just edgy for the sake of edginess. Love Asian cinema but their obsessions with torture based narratives is laughable
Come and see is one of the most horrific movies I have ever seen. Being Jewish seeing the Nazis beat and one of my people and racially abuse him makes me lose faith in humanity. im ngl i cant listen to ur backrooms videos when i gts cuz i feel like imma wake up actually in the backrooms
how is the blair witch project in the same tier as the birds
movie marathon with all these?
would actually be insane 🤠
Love The Horror Vids, Hope Your Doing Well 🫶🏾🤟🏾
If you people love weird movies, you should watch Beyond the Black Rainbow, it’s quite the sensory experience
The deeper you go. Then you can take time to reflect.
Perfect combination! ❤❤❤
thanks Steph ❤️
This is so underrated what the f$ck?!
How could this possib😢be relaxxintblmao
I can’t fully zoom in on the list but if A Syrian Film isn’t on this I’m surprised
This makes me so so tired but I’m trying to stay away because I love these movies lol
Nice
I love your videos, but that white noise is kinda ehh..if you could find a way to cut that then your voice would come across way more cleaner please know I hold no hate in that sentence
Always loved these, wish you didnt also share the name of the homeless person who sleeps behind in front of my workplace lol
Oh sorry, if you give me the timestamp I'll take it out
