I still need to make something for breaking the bead. I'm waiting on my new tires to arrive today. Part 2 is coming soon! I hope mounting goes as well as dismounting.
If you use a washer under the pipe with a wide rubber washer when you tighten the top nut the wheel will not move and all you need is one tire iron to demount tire using soapy water helps ease the job... Take a look at harbor freights mini tire changer for more ideas to copy in your homemade build...
Thanks for the tips. I sprayed the others with Dawn and water, didn't help much, the tires were just so rotten the iron was digging in. It helped a lot on the new ones. Wish I'd thought to use a washer though, mounting was still a challenge, I'm sure that would have helped.
