    Insane how much Ikeman has that mugen doesn't. This is why Ikemen is the future for making mugen like content, also good luck to you and Ultrafatality project :3

    I understand the concept. The player's stand anim looks better when you code it in ikemen better than in mugen than just a portrait of a character including a movelist

    This is basically enough to guarantee my switching from mu1.1 to Ikeman Go already! Stage portraits and the fact most of my stuff works without changes, helps this guarantee too.

      The only thing with Ikemen is some stages aren't compatible and will cause oddities.

      @@EternalStorm796 Thanks for the heads up! I noticed the mu1.1 zoom feature was giving me mild motion sickness in Ikeman, not sure why. But I didnt mess around with my stages enough to find out yet. I'll chalk it up as a fluke or my wierd sensitivity to that stuff. Couldn't play Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime back in the day because of that stuff.
      Hopefully the odd stuff can be worked around though, I'll look forward to fighting with it at some point!

      @ChronoStrifeFF7H good chance it's probably a Mugen feature that wasn't added to Ikemen yet. I heard that they were working on it so hopefully it gets fixed/added to the next build when they release it.

    I have notice the Engine's Source code does have the ability to allow the person to adjust the maximum amount of simul players.
    Meaning You can make an 8v8 or beyond even when its the current version and nightly builds.
    I did try to compile the executable (I Followed what the wiki said in the github) but its not there in the bin file
    I do wonder if you can try some tutorial of doing that. Even if the wiki says it in text format.

      I did try it before but I don't think I ever got 8v8, more of 4v4 simul.

      @@RyonMugen I found a Q&A Discussion Post about bringing back the 8v8 feature (And make it beyond that)
      (I tried to add in the link. But the previous comment i made likely got held for review)
      Plus a wiki page about: Compiling the Executable. (I have said it again but: I tried to compile it even if i followed it exactly for Windows. It didnt seem to make it)

    I’m currently in the process of redoing my screenpack, and I plan on porting it to ikemen go at some point. There looks like there’s many more features than meets the eye, that’s awesome!
    What’s the best way to convert a mugen screenpack to an ikemen one?

      manually sprite by sprite and copying values. If you copy big chunks of code over, you may miss or "remove" ikemen go features. I would just remake it.

    Do you know how to change thé palette order ? Some characters avec palette issues on the sélection screen. One of the frame have an other palette

      You can set the order in the .def file for old characters. And in the. Sff for new characters.

      @@RyonMugen it doesn't work. It's swiping to the default palette chosen by the autor during 1 frame everytime the idle animation is looping. This is only hapening with the animated portrait during the select screen. Any Idea plz ? Thanks man

    Brother, is there a way to put this animated portrait in mugen using Mugenhook right? I wanted to know if there's going to be a portrait without animation together ??? an image without animation (portrait) behind the same character in your video but in mugen - mugenhook , could you know a video about it if possible

      I have no idea what mugen hook is. But in base mugen. No.
      You should look into Ikemen Go. It allows it

    is mugenguild down? can't access it...
    Also, have you tried mugenhook by ermacceer? I am interested in it's tag feature but I can't find any doc of how to implement it

      I wouldn't know anything about guild being on or offline.
      And no I haven't but would that tag feature be the same as what the latest ikemen go has implemented?
      I think it does, not sure.

      For tag, yes ikemen has it,but I'm working on a mugen based game, dont know if porting it to ikemen is easy or even possible

    My friend is having some errors with certain characters, they either "twitch a lot" or have error palettes. Do you know how to fix this?

    Some char colors goes green or messed up, just in the chars roster (select char screen); In game is ok.
    Any idea how to fix it?

      The small portrait has to have the same palette as the character

    Hm...I've been using this for a while since I've seen K666's tutorial (minus the sliding effect) though for some reason, three of the characters in my roster are flickering in their animation stance on the select screen.

      No it's just a generic mountain, lake background.
      HOWEVER! I am very impressed you know about Bahamut Lagoon! One of my favorite RPGs ever! I loved. Byuu and Salamander (I kept his name simple lol)

      its actually quite impossible, because the river city girls do not have a solid black outline like the SP characters do

    What do I do when I try to load up my ikemen it keeps saying “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)”

      @@sugarplum7376 you need to get the windows prerequisite files.
      you need to google and download
      " install of Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable "
      that particular version of VisualC++ 2010, if you can find the x86 or x64 version. install both.

    Good tutorials here. I've used some. I would like you to consider, a tutorial on multiple big portraits on the victory screen. I have a 3x3 project and I thought it was really cool. I just couldn't find anything for me to see about it. This video shows more or less how it is. The three big portraits appear on the victory screen.

      @@RyonMugen Yes. I also couldn't find anything with that done. I've seen it done in the selection menu and victory screen. But the projects haven't been released yet, as far as I know.

    Hi! Really helpful can you please let me know the code for player 2( big potraite) ? i used this:
    p2.face2.spr=9000,1
    p2.face2.offset = 1280,0
    p2.face2.scale = 1,1
    p2.face2.facing = -1
    But it isnt showing anything

      Your doing this in IKEMEN GO correct?
      And it looks correct. I would set the offset to 640,320 somewhere in the middle of the screen until it appears.
      OH!!! Also sometimes I think scale it really out of wack.
      Try scale .25 or .5
