LSL T BONE - Fantastic Hand Built Guitar - Is it Worth The Price Tag?
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 жов 2021
- LSL Instruments have been building guitars since 2008 and is fast becoming one of the most sought-after guitar brands. Hand-made in Califonia completely by hand these instruments are not priced for the budget guitar market, but how good are they? The Studio Rats are core band members Paul Drew on guitar/production/mixing, drummer James Ivey and Dan Hawkins on bass. They collaborate with singers and musicians to produce radio-ready songs.

I'm pretty sure they use CNC machines. Just to rough out the neck and body, cut fret slots etc. Things that require total precision. The neck profile and body contours are done by hand. I'd buy one in a heartbeat.
Wonderful playing, but that guitar is beautiful. It looks like it has a fantastic playing neck as well, and sounds great. I bought a Manson guitar last year, and it was very expensive for me. But every time I pick it up and play it, the quality and the playability of the neck puts a smile on my face. I don’t regret it at all😎
Cheers Aaa.
I've had my T bone, Bad Bone 2 for about ten years. it has the coil tap on both pickups, making it the most versatile guitar that I own. Love It!
That’s good to know Steve. Is there much volume loss when you switch to the split mode?
@@TheStudioRats a little bit, but just adds to the vibe. definitely worth doing. love the show, keep uptake good work!
The word “cool” was invented for this guitar, the blue and the hardware looks marvellous, also the tone has so much character…
I’ve personally switched from coil tapping or coil splitting my humbuckers to switching from series to parallel. I find it to be a more usable sound as it still thins it out and gets in that single coil territory, but there’s less of a volume drop and it stays noiseless.
What a tone....., great playing 👍⭐️
Thanks for listening
I would love to have that guitar! I can't afford it, but I don't think it's overpriced. Well... I COULD afford it, but I couldn't motivate it, what with me not being a professional, career musician.
Great demo!
I played an LSL tele a couple years ago. Best recent production guitar I've played for sure!
Just got one of these so looked up some vids. So happy I found this… what a fantastic tone and playing! Love it mate 👌🏻
Cheers yogi, the guitar is up for sale if you are interested.
@@TheStudioRats ahh mate, I literally bought the red one yesterday! Blue looks lovely though
@@TheStudioRats assuming this one sold?
@The Studio Rats surprising you would let her go, she sounded immaculate and so satisfying here. Clarity, crunch, balls, and vibe abound here in this one!
I've a Saticoy that's my #1 and it's been the bees knees for me.
Lsl are class, they make beautiful guitars
Great sound!! Getting my lefty with SS in a few days...can't wait. It'll have plenty of Tele company when it arrives....at 62, life-long player (non-pro)...I've come full circle and prefer a Tele. My USA Pro II is great....but even a well set up Squier CV50 with Fralin or Lollars can keep up...I want something 'over the top' before I die. Lefties have so few options as it is...
I feel you on that man. I am a lefty player too. I have a few G&Ls ASATs that are pretty great but still looking for "the one" been looking at the LSLs and Nash guitars of late. Hope you find the over the top one for you.
It looks and sounds great!
What amp are you using? And what pedal are you stomping on at 4:08 of the video???
Always wonderful playing and tones!
Nice guitar! Can you make comparison with prs or gibson?
As you're such a Tele fan and you seem to know what's what with them is it possible you could borrow a Vintage Tele (the brand 'Vintage') as they seem to be such amazing value and obtainable. I and I'm sure many others would value your honest views on them.
Sounds awesome.
Yes! But… signal chain? What kind of amp are you using. Cause it sounds sweet! And which one would you choose between the LsL ant Suhr Alt Pro?
Hey Miguel. Cheers, I was using the BluGuitar Amp1, I did mention this in the video. I’ve now parted with the Suhr but I’m really keen on this LSL. Thanks for the comment
Qué guitarra!!!🔥
That's Neato!
La mejor tele suena nuclear 😎🤘🧉
What amp are you using in this video?
It’s a BluGuitar amp1
@@TheStudioRats :Thanks for replying. It sounds great!
Congratulations for the excellent review, tell us what you use to record your videos, pedals? Amps? Plugins? Interface? Mics?
He’s using something analogic (I cannot spot any digital fizz distortion)
Man! I have been a fan and subscriber since your katana vids. But! There is a bit of variety needed.
Hi Samuel, with 250 videos a year, multiple guitar reviews, effects and many different amps plus techniques videos please tell me what else I can do!
