- Another Scuffed low quality (asf) edited/clipped pulled BUILD VIDEO from a recent Twitch livestream.
The NEW META is CELESTIAL, after much anticipation and demand we have finally settled on a hybrid scourge build which even includes the new RELIC of SORC !
Scourge is still one of the S-Tier choice's for large scale WvW squad's. Let me know what you think of the build, do you think it's still the G.O.A.T or can it be replaced?, bare in mind this is intended to be played in an organised group, its not a solo build. As per norm, i speak a little bit about how the build works including some options i.e tips etc etc depending on the situation. i just want more competitive fights, i dont mind this change in meta tbh i just dont want to 1 push enemy and them log off. (unless they deserve it)
All those ppl don't understand how strong hybrid condi meta rly is.
The builds not only do everything (DPS, strip, boons, heal, cleanse), but they also limit the opponents potential to dps by applying weakness, chill, slow and cripple.
The general DPS output is also higher. With 4 Condi hybrids (or 3+holo) and a heal-cleanser, you do more damage than the 1-2 power players per party in the previous meta.
Our server swapped to Condi (pretty much) fully and it's nearly impossible to lose vs a power composition.
The only power build you can still run is holo, cause it's beyond broken.
FACTS
be sure people perfectly understood the full power of aoe condi spam, there was enough time for this, how many years have developers not even trying to nerf this one-button gameplay.
Both of the clips you posted don't do you justice if you say this build does damage, those condi dmg ticks are very low vs those groups with high cleanse in the current game, as dps when you are supported why not greiv or vipers and the strength of scourge is boon strips you lose alot not having nul sigil or absorb on weapons.
Yeah 2k dps is not a lot of dmg but it’s more dmg than the usual support scourge build. The meta is condi, tickle dmg but lots of tickles, main source of dmg is burn from fb and power dmg from holosmith. This is a hybrid build. What guild are you in? Did you try viper or grieving ? And vS who? I think it would be too squishy. As for strips, you already have enough in a decent comp squad. But if you feel the strips are too low you can add sigils.
@@perishVS Thank you for the reply i dont run conditions it was pure curiosity, for zerg im nearly straight berserker / bit of marauders and my builds primarily focused on strip the dmg is secondary the reaper/zerker/ holo etc are always going to out dps for sure, and im running axe focus GS with nul and absorb on both with scholar. we mostly do open field zerg fights small 10 man guild no GVG so i cant speak from exp on that side but open field wvw full minstrel or berserker i think the target cap always wins haha just from a damage point and generating downs and rallies, again thanks for taking the time.

@@abraxaz940 if you can still pull off playing power necro then ggz. Let me know if you ever run into a condi group and how it played out. By the time the community realise how strong condi is, it will probably get nerfed. Here on EU we are starting to see more players use it, but it’s still power majority.
@@perishVS I wonder why condi meta ? maybe on our backward and low-skill rof kick celestial fb and condi scorges and ask only pow dps....

@@perishVS tested it the past two days and while it’s certainly not bad, celestial just feels nicer. But that’s just an opinion, I don’t run arc dps so I do not have objective data. :(
