This was a fun episode, I laughed a decent amount. Funny enough to me i'm making a mini iron man and later a large iron man suit in KSP... Mine doesn't really rely on wings though because trying to land was my second or third test , during which i realized .. having so many wing pieces makes hovering and unstable flip maneuvers even more unsteady and hectic. For that Iron man 1.0 to land i think they'd need to go in to a mode with only the hand thrusters and then have a button to pulse the feet thrusters to slow down so it rotates around the mid section as the wings will make it keep trying to glide back, forward and sideways. All that said i really like the look and stability, also gave me some ideas to look into when i go back. Also may try making a first person one in RBC-X when they add thrusters
Scrapman! Having the landing gear down on a plane greatly affects a plane's ability to fly in Trailmakers! with certain planes, it's not that noticeable but it really does affect it! So with planes that people think don't have great pitch or good lift, might have way better lift and pitch. It's just the landing gear that some people forget to put up that's affecting the planes performance! I'm not sure if this is a case of Scrapman simply forgetting to put the gear up or that he doesn't know that after the plane has spawned, objects can still affect its aerodynamic capabilities. No matter the case, Like this so he will see! (this isn't a cry for likes, I genuinely just want to help Scrapman review aircraft) P.S: The P38 Lightning was great, by the way! Incredibly accurate. whoever made it should be extremely proud of themselves P.P.S: I also could be very wrong and the aircraft might genuinely just have bad pitch in general
