one thing though - Beethoven did not play the Emperor in public. it was Friedrich Schneider who premiered the Emperor in 1811. Beethoven's last public performance was a concert in 1808 when he conducted the premiere of the 5th and 6th symphonies and the 4th Piano Concerto with Beethoven being the pianist. But still an awesome scene! Loved Gary Oldman as Beethoven
This event did not happen in real life. Despite being misunderstood as a person Beethoven’s music was still triumphed. And if it were to happen the audience would have fallen silent
In the year 2017, why am I hearing ANYTHING as a monaural sound output? (For the millenials who know nothing about how 'stereo sound' got that way, monaural sound means all the sound, all of it, is coming from a single speaker, and that usually is NOT the LEFT speaker, as it is, in this case.) You have insulted one of history's greatest composers by screwing up the sound of his music to one speaker/headphone.
It breaks my heart to see when we, mortals, are unworthy of the extraordinary.

Que pasta, braham?
Beethoven actually nicked that phrase from ELP's song. Big fan of the prog-rock trio he was.

Its letting you hear what he heard which was nothing it's letting you look inside the mind of the real Beethoven not as a composer but as a man
Millennial are 28 years old
I think it was meant to be a part of how Beethoven heard the world around him.
