    Really enjoying the videos and scenery of each journey. We both also enjoy the memories of wide open spaces of our trips

      We enjoyed our visit to Klawer and had a fantastic stay at Lemoenkloof. The afternoon and early morning sun was just awesome! It was such fun to play with dogs again, we haven't done that in a very long time! 🐶

    I grew up in Klawer. The station received many accolades for best station, but now looks like crap. The bridge you crossed out of town was once severely damaged due to floods. The entire bridge had to be raised back up. There used to be a primary and a secondary school. You drove past both. The primary school was converted into flats. The secondary school was where you came into town. You also drove past my high school in Vanrhynsdorp. You need to slow down a bit if you can😉. You missed allot.

    I think the train actually comes from CPT during the flower season. The Sishen line I think is closer to the coast at this point. Yes, the vineyards in the river bed were fascinating. Vredendal too. The dogs were cute man.

    They make a wine in Klawer called African Ruby infused with rooibos.

      It was a lovely place and nice to have some space. We're not always that lucky, so enjoy it when we do. 🏘️

    They will eat granadillas because my daughters friends dog takes them off the bush while they are still green.

    Get lost??? Really. But I must say my husband managed to get lost in Colesburg.

      Colesberg might be a tad bigger than Klawer! Luckily we managed to find our way around just fine! 😆

      When the weather conditions allow it, I like to fly the drone for a different perspective. 🤩

    Did you say Klapmuts? Must it not be Klawer?

    • @DustBugsTravel
      @DustBugsTravel  Рік тому +1

      Yup, I did indeed! I figured everyone would know what I meant though since we were nowhere near Klapmuts at the time! 😁
