Nip on over to Lanarkshire model supplies, think they sell a whole heap more patterns of rail built buffer stops, more than one layout could ever need.
These are very good buffer stops, prototypically they suit my layout very well for the date and region I am modelling. I think you may find that they fit the bullhead code 75 really well but not so well with the flatbottom code 75 rails and per your example. Funny you mentioning damaged buffer stops, my layout will reflect a written off set at the end of a short engine storage siding, basically taken off down to the rail clamps. Thanks for the episode
Great feature, thanks, glad I bought some. Making my own out of pieces of rail yonks back resulted in a better look but was such a pain I only made a couple. BTW we really need to learn about your 1:1 close encounters.............!
With the little bit of research I did for this, I think it’s - anything goes!! Generally, painted white or red in terminus stations with lamps attached. Black or not painted in sidings. But there’s always exceptions and the further back in time we go, the less likely they are to be painted or have lights on them.

I’ve seen there array of buffer stops!
Yes more than you could wish for 😀
Might invest in a couple for some variety 😯
@@Wallsrail a different type for every siding just to annoy the purists

Thomas reference anyone?
I quite agree, they are a little gem. Although I do need to do some research on sone suitable colours and weathering.
